Name: Hal Relin
Age: 16.2 years old.
Appearance: Hal has short brown hair, and dark green eyes. His skin is slightly pale, and his eyes have some darkness under them, either due to lack of sleep or simply genetics. He does not have any facial hair. His eyebrows are well groomed, and his face void of acne or scars. his cheeks can appear a little red at times due to carritosis, an overdosage of betacarotine in the body. His hair is soft, and rather messy. Coming it makes static due to it's thickness. When not wearing a uniform of sorts, he wears a blue knit toboggan sometimes, and a hooded grey jacket and light jeans. He wears light taupe canvas shoes as well.
Personality: To be blunt, Hal is conserved, quiet, meek, deprecative, and self-sadist somewhat. However, he is kind to those he trusts, protective, and resourceful. He is nimble bodied, and is great at climbing, and keeping balance. He is only attending the academy to get away from his abusive father. He doesn't know what to expect, and simply does as told, without questions. He prefers thinking that so long as others are happy, he's content. He doesn't really pay attention to his own feelings at all, even if something hurts him. He figures if he ignores them, they'll just go away. He'll sometimes have bursts of depressive rage, and end up crying, or very resentful to others. He has moments where he is optimistic however, but those times are short lived.
History: Hal Relin grew up in a small city north of the Unova Region, with his father and sister. Is mother passed away of cancer when he was 5, resulting in a state of denial and reclusiveness. He was the last person she saw. He didn't understand death at the time, but over time, after being haunted by nightmares, and knowledge of what death mean't, he was mortified, and resulted in terrible mental health. His father became a drunk afterwards, and changed from being a once kind man to being a sadistic, torturing manipulator. His sister was still treated somewhat fairly.
Hal was never given a Pokémon at age 10. His father never let him have one, so he didn't leave home. His father felt like Hal didn't deserve the luxury of a journey and a Pokémon.
Years passed, and Hal was at last, sick of it. He snuck out of his classroom in his high school to the principal's office, whom he asked if he could be transferred to St. Aggie's Academy. His principal asked why he would want to transfer. Hal informed him that he wanted to become a Pokémon Trainer and not want to be here his entire life.
Hal, the night before he was supposed to leave to St. Aggies, he packed a bag with clothes, provisions, and went into his sister's room, and told her he was going off to be a Pokémon Trainer. He kissed her forehead, and patted her, and made his way out through his own window into the front yard. Using his climbing skills, he was able to get down fairly easily. He soon made his way to a nearby bus stop, which would take him to the docks. There, he proceeded to make it onto the boat at dawn, after sleeping a very rough night on a bench at the docks.
Then, the boat took him to salvation- St. Aggie's Academy, where he may at last find solace...
Bella Babys btw.
