Student, please.
I'd like a student, if there are any spots left.
@Elphie; @Pokémon Trainer Calvin; Both reserved
Hmm... I haven't done an academy RP in forever, so this might be worth trying out. Care to reserve me as a teacher?
And I thought the name was familiar :-p ! I should get around to reading the last few books, but I can't be bothered to find them...
Name: Sayuri Koneko
Age: 16 (Birthday June 21)
Sexuality: Unsure yet, since she's too shy to explore it
Appearance: Sayuri is rather short at 4'6", which, combined with her lean frame, makes her look like she's only around 12. She has shoulder-length brown hair and matching oriental eyes that are hidden behind huge, thick glasses, and her skin is pale, suggesting she's never gotten a tan. She tends to wear shirts with sleeves that are longer than her arms, along with skirts, tights, and flats. Her outfit colors are restricted to soft pastel baby pinks, yellows, greens, and blues. She always wears a brown cat-eared headband.
Personality: Sayuri is the epitome of a shrinking violet. She utterly hates attention, and will go to all ends to stay to herself, which she finds necessary with so many traits causing her to stand out. For one, her strict intellectual upbringing grants her a higher than normal intelligence all around. She expresses subtle pride in her intellect, and is ignorant to why people are so enthralled by high intellect. She is extremely timid, due to limited contact with others her whole life, almost never talks unless beckoned by one of high authority. Her extreme shyness also makes her easily embarrassed, and often leads to spontaneous crying fits. She has no understanding of what friends are supposed to be. She always shudders when she's nervous, which always happens when she's around people she doesn't know. She isn't bold in the slightest, but she is very proud of herself and won't let others talk down to her. She loves studying, reading, and playing her magic instruments. She also loves cats, and has made it her motif. If her emotions reach the breaking out, she becomes darker, and unleashes her emotions in a karmic outburst. When it's over, it always leads to a heavy crying fit. When (she thinks) no one is looking, she drops her inhibitions and acts like a cat.
History: Sayuri grew up in a sheltered environment as the younger of two children, her only real companions being the pet cat they had, and her sister, who was five years older. Her parents raised her to be a prodigy, and homeschooled her so she could learning at the fastest possible pace without any distractions. They began reading to her from her earliest days. They continued reading to her until they caught her reading a book by herself when she was three, having learned by matching sounds with letter groups as her mother had demonstrated when reading. From there, her learning was branched out into other subjects, and by kindergarten, she had the knowledge of an average third grader. As she went, her pace increased, and she became obsessed with learning, reading and studying so much that she'd have to be reminded to eat and sleep. In the midst of all this, she almost never went outside, and she avoided the sunlight, simply because she got distracted by the heat. When she was ten, she went with her sister to the library for language books, and met several kids her age. She was immediately teased for her Asian looks and her cat motif. Despite her sister's intervention, she was scarred by the teasing, and yet, she was intrigued. She began studying became extremely shy and introverted. When her parents felt she was ready to begin looking into social interaction, she vehemently refused, which concerned her parents to no end. As smart as she was, she couldn't and wouldn't get into a social situation if she could help it. In a desperate effort to help her, her parents sent her to St. Aggies Academy, hoping she'd return with her psychological wounds healed.
Aspiration: Trainer
Other: She has to take medication for her anxiety issues, and has knowledge of Japanese, though she rarely uses her home language so as not to attract attention.
@Pokémon Trainer Calvin; Missed something in the spoilers ofthe first postIt's St. Aggie's not St. Maggie's
Excuse me. Your overabundance of spoilers repulsed my attention from them. I also happen to be sleepy.
@Pokémon Trainer Calvin; That's how I know if someone read everything. Also not misspelled. Babies is plural, babys is the nickname for my dog Bella, hence the spelling. Anyways accepted.
Just curious, is Babys pronounced differently? It seems like it would be, seeing as how it's a name.
I...I hope this is good enough, Midori-sama. >.<
@Camila; Let this be your answer.
@Camila; Accepted...Midori-sama?
Impressive, you got someone to add -sama to your name. Do you think yourself worthy of that honorific, though?
