"Patience," said Malefor. "He is on edge at the moment. We must wait a little bit for him to become comfortable. Beings are so much more easy to manipulate when they not expecting a threat."

Fluttershy nodded. "I can take you to her," she said, fluttering over. "She lives in town."

"Wait, Princess? What Princess?" asked Spyro, blinking after hearing this Twilight was the apprentice to one.

"Yes, Equestria is ruled by Princess Celestia and her younger sister, Princess Luna," said Fluttershy. "They control the sun and moon. They're both really nice, even if Luna is a little scary...then again, a lot of things scare me...including my own shadow..."

Chrysalis nods. "I suppose I could have used that advice about TWO DAYS AGO!"

Sparx laughs. "Scared of your own shadow?"
Cynder shoots Sparx a look. "Well, these princesses sound rather nice. Didn't you say Unicorns had magic? Could one of them have brought us here?"

"How so?" asked Malefor.

"Maybe..." said Fluttershy. "But most Unicorns only have use to one type of Magic, something to do with their Cutie Mark."

"Cutie Mark?" asked Spyro, blinking in confusion.

Fluttershy showed hers. "It's a special mark that appears when a pony discovers their special talent, what they're really good at. I got mine when I found out I have a special gift with animals."

"I failed to take over this place, known as Equestria. I sent all the Changelings in too early. I shoulda waited until everyone was off their guard." Chrysalis sighed. "But no matter, I can use this second opportunity."

"So... let's go see this 'Twilight' then?" Sparx said. "'Cutie Marks' may be interesting and all but we gotta find out why we're here."

"I see," said Malefor. "And it appears your army is gone, isn't it? How sad."

Fluttershy nodded. "Angel, please begin feeding the animals for me," she said softly to her pet rabbit, who merely sighed and got ready to work. She then began leading the way, but was careful to keep them out of sight. "Twilight actually has a baby dragon named Spike as her assistant, but it seems more like she's his mother most of the time. He's actually purple too."

"Purple?" asked Spyro, surprised. "I wonder if that means the same thing here that it does where we're from."

"There are a few left... scattered around Equestria. Speaking of Equestria, where are YOU?" Chrysalis asked. "And how are we talking?"

"I highly doubt that, Spyro. This place is very different. But, you never know." Cynder said.

Sparx flew after them. "I doubt this 'Spike' has as many powers as you, if any, Spyro."

"I am imprisoned in the world Spyro came from," said Malefor. "We are talking via magic."

Fluttershy nodded. "All he can do is breath fire, though he has special magic fire that can teleport letters," she explained, as they entered Ponyville via the alleys so no one saw them. "This is Ponyville...Um, sorry for taking the long way, but I'm afraid the ponies will be startled if they see you...Though Pinkie Pie would probably just race off to plan you a party."

Chrysalis nods. "I see. Can you tell me more about what happened between you and Spyro?"

Pinkie Pie, seeming out of nowhere, hung down from the roof of a house. "Ooh! Hi! Are you Dragons? I love dragons! That's so cool! I've never met you before, so that means you're new, and if you're new, you have to have a party for you! I'll go organise one!"

"Um... is... is she always like... this?" Cynder asked Fluttershy.

Fluttershy nodded. "Yes, she is..." said Fluttershy, not phased in the least. "Even Twilight can't explain a lot of the things she does...she tried..."

Spyro blinked. "Um...ok, I guess..." he said to Pinkie. "But right now we're just going to go talk to Twilight, if that's ok."

"Oh, the normal things. I go about my plans, he frees my most loyal henchman and kills the other one. They insist on foiling my plan and then the spirits of my elders imprison me in the center of the Earth," Malefor said.

"Twilight? Oh, you mean Twilight Sparkle? She's my bestest of best friends! I'll show you where she lives!" Pinkie bounced down from the roof and into the town square. "She lives in this tree, just here!"

Spyro blinked at Pinkie's bouncing. "Um...thank you, Pinkie Pie," he said, clearly confused.

Nova looked up at her mother. "Mom...wherever we are, it's weird."

"I'll go organise a PARTY! Ooh, do you like Punch? I love punch! I'll make sure there's punch! Okay! Seeya later!" Pinkie Pie bounced off.

"Nova, it's okay. We'll be out of here soon... I hope..." Cynder reassured.

"Oh, not everypony is like Pinkie Pie, she's special, and she's very nice once you get used to her," said Fluttershy.

"Wait, everypony?" asked Spyro, blinking. "You say everypony, not everyone?"

"Well, we say everyone when there's not just ponies around," said Fluttershy. "Like when there are griffins or other species included."

"Griffin?"

"They're another species, body of a lion, head and front legs of an eagle as well as the wings," explained Nova. "They're actually pretty cool sounding."

OoC: While the normal spelling is "Griffin", the writers typed it as "Griffon". Jus' sayin'.

IC: "Sounds badass. Now, where's Twilight's house?" Sparx said, growing impatient with all the chatter.

"Right here..." said Fluttershy, pointing to the library.

"She lives in a tree?" asked Nova, blinking.

"So did me and Sparx growing up," said Spyro, though admittedly, that was because he was raised by dragonflies.

"If you'll excuse me, I have to go take care of my animals...um, I hope everything works out for you..." said Fluttershy timidly.
