Thread: MLP:FIM/The Legend Of Spyro Crossover *Me and Shining Armor!*

"Spyro, what's going on here? Do you have any idea where we are?" Cynder asked, a little scared herself now.

Spyro shook his head. "No," he said, looking around the surrounding area. "But I think we'd better get out of this forest," he said, sniffing the air. "I smell a lot of large predators around here, and until we know where we are, I'd rather not upset the locals," he said, nudging Sparx to wake him.

Sparx yawned and woke up. "What? What is it? Can't a guy catch a nap around here?"

"We're not at the Temple, in fact, I don't even think we're in the Dragon Realms," Spyro explained, pointing to the moon.

Sparx looked at Spyro. "Well? Shall we go find out where we are?"

Spyro nodded, standing up and leading the way. Soon, they got out of the forest and saw a small cabin in the distance. "Well, there's a house..." he said, looking over at it. The sun was starting to rise. He smelled lots of animals, from the looks of things, they were all owned by the owner of the house. "Looks like someone who cares for animals..." he said, noticing this. "Should we just...knock?"

Cynder knocks on the door. "Of course, how else do we find out where we are?"

A tiny surprised squeak came from the other side. "C-coming..." said the most timid voice that Spyro had ever heard.

"Um...s-sorry, I was having breakfast..." said the voice as the door opened. When the pink maned, cream colored being that opened the door saw them, she screamed and hid under her coach. "D-don't eat me!"

Spyro blinked, looking to Cynder in confusion.

Cynder peered through the door at Fluttershy. "W...why would we eat you? We're just trying to find out where we are!"

Sparx flew in the door and under the couch. "Seriously dude, what are you? Who are you? Why'dya think Spyro's gonna hurt you?"

"B-because t-they're d-dragons..." stuttered Fluttershy, not moving. "Oh...I...I'm Fluttershy..."

"What?"

"I'm Fluttershy..."

"It's alright, we're not going to hurt you," said Spyro, though he had a feeling Dragons weren't well liked wherever they were. "What's your name?"

Fluttershy poked her head out. "I'm Fluttershy..."

"Fluttershy, that's an interesting name..." said Spyro, looking the little pegasus over. "What exactly are you?"

"She's a pegasus," said Nova. "Pegasi are winged horses, I've read about them, but they don't live in the Dragon Realms..."

"S-so you are dragons...you must be pretty young..." said Fluttershy, looking them over.

Cynder nods. "Yes, we're dragons... and we are fairly young... and small..." she said, wondering what her reaction would be if she saw Malefore. "So... Pegasi? Are we in some form of horse kingdom?"

Sparx flies to Spyro. "Can't be weirder than those Llama people."

"Though we're young adults more or less..." said Spyro, confused.

"I-I guess you could say that. You're in Equestria," said Fluttershy, still a little frightened, though seeing Nova calmed her down a bit. "We're all ponies...There are Earth Ponies and Unicorns too..."

"Unicorns are horses with horns, they have magic powers from what I've read," said Nova.

"Um...you said you were young adults...But you look more like the teenaged dragons I've seen..." said Fluttershy, confused. "...I thought adult dragons were gigantic, I've seen one bigger than a house."

"It would appear that in this land, dragons are different... bigger.... scarier..." Cynder noted. "Shh, it's okay Fluttershy, we won't hurt you. Or at least I won't. Now, do you have any idea why we're here?"

Fluttershy shook her head. "N-No...Where would you normally be?"

"A place called the Dragon Realms," said Spyro, trying to sound as kind as possible.

"I've never heard of it...sorry..." said Fluttershy. "But my friend, Twilight Sparkle might have heard of it, she's the Princess' personal student, if anyone would know, it's her."

"Another Pony? Can you give us directions to her house?" Cynder asked.

"So... where did this 'hero' Spyro end up? And when can I get Equestria as mine?" Chrysalis asked.
