SECOND CHARACTER, Won't be as important...you know what that means. LOLDEAD.
Name: Esme Genivive Gina Smallton 'Sunny', is her prefferred nickname. (Initials are Egg...? Sunny side up? Mleh)
Personality: Esme is a happy girl, always bright and bubbly, and also loves all things cute. She looks up to Elesa, and hopes to become a model someday, or if not a famous co-ordinator. She lives in Nimbasa City. She came to the Island to search for more Pokemon to add to her team so she can compete in musicals with more than one pokemon. A downside to Esme is she is far too trustworthy, and doesnt know when she is in danger. (HINTHINT)
History: Her parents have raised Esme in a world of laughter, fun and games. She has never gone far outside of Nimbasa, her furthest being the trainers school in Striation town.
She has always had a posotive view on Pokemon, she has never been hurt by one so she is trusting in them. She beleives there are no bad people or pokemon, just 'sad' people that feel unhappy. Her prize pokemon is Miccino, which is very beautiful and she has used it in musicals, battles and contests.
Personality: Very neat and tidy, can't stand mess and like Esme is very trustworthy.
Other: Choice Scarf is being held.
ooc;; Accepted ;D
It'd be nice to get about two more RPers, but if not I'll probably post the start up later today or tomorrow morning.
Her appearance speaks volumes.
Her eyes are a bright, baby blue colour, with long lashes and a child-like innocence to them. They're unusually large (not noticeably so, however), and are framed nicely by the light brown fringe that curls around the sides of her heart-shaped face.
Said hair is always held up in a long braid, with loose strands of hair occasionally flying free of the flower-y hairbands that hold them in place. It's not unusual to see her with various bright, tropical-looking flowers held in place in her hair, off-setting the light, natural looking brown sheen the sun gives it.
She looks a lot younger than she is - Cecily appears about 10 or 11, and people often mistake her for someone who has only recently begun their journey. She's very pale and dainty, and appears almost anorexic.
Cecily suffers from a congenital heart defect, which leaves her short of breath and means that her muscles and limbs are less developed than that of a healthy person. She occasional suffers from fainting, and is prone to respiratory infections.
Her bones are very prominent, giving her a thin, gaunt look.
She wears bracelets of flower petals around her wrists, and very faintly pink coloured pumps. She wears a white summer dress that goes just down to her knees, made out of a very light fabric, meaning that it is often whipped about by the wind.
The left strap of the dress is tied into a sort-of bow shape, whereas the right-hand one is just a normal strap. The dress is held in place just above her waist by a thin, green belt with a symbol that vaguely resembles a pokemon, and the dress is embellished with lots of tiny, pastel green flowers that gather around the base of the dress more than anywhere else.
All her life people have pitied Cecily for her problems.
She doesn't mind them, personally, but she can't help but feel inferior when people look sadly at her and go on about how she's such a 'poor thing'.
Cecily is a very soft-spoken girl, very shy towards people she doesn't know. She's at best an introvert, at worst a complete recluse. That being sad she's not afraid to stick up for herself - she doesn't feel she's any worse off for her problems, and dislikes people thinking so.
She doesn't speak much, preferring to act, and will only offer her insight if she feels she has to contribute something.
Cecily has an almost-obsession with grass types. Perhaps it was to do with the fact that she spent most of her childhood in her gardens, but she adores them.
Cecily will also go out of her way to help people. It doesn't matter whether you know her or not - she would rather sacrifice herself for a stranger than even contemplate their death.
She lacks self-esteem - she feels she's useless. Don't ask her why - she probably wouldn't tell you anyway.
Cecily is generally happy. She's always smiling, if not laughing at something, and is a natural-born optimist. She feels that if anything goes wrong it was bound to happen anyway - she doesn't fault people for their actions no matter how corrupt.
She's also undyingly loyal - and easily taken advantage of.
Cecily is very observant, and often spots things from miles away, but she isn't very good with planning ahead. She can strategise but only at an amateur level, and if things go wrong she often finds herself lost for ideas.
She is fragile. She takes people's words to heart, even if they're only joking or trying to be funny.
She is too cautious - she won't do anything without checking, then double-checking, and then checking a third time just to be sure.
It's sad how naive she is. She thinks she's invincible, that people would never lie or trick, that people would never dream of hurting another human being.
Ever since Cecily was a little girl she was babied.
After her parents discovered her problem they refused to let her out of their sight - nearly her entire life was spent trapped in her own house. That being said at lesst her house was big - her parents were very wealthy, and were almost considered 'royalty' on the island she grew up in - her house was a palace.
Said parents were brilliant co-ordinators - famous for their incredible quick-thinking and beautiful contest moves, even when battling.
Cecily was home-schooled too - her parents were worried she'd get hurt if she went to a public school.
Cecily was practically kept under house-arrest. As such she spent most of her time in the palace gardens - where she could pretend she was a regular girl, free to do as she pleased like 'normal people'.
Her parents gave her a Pokemon when she was seven. They called it a 'pet', but Cecily likes to pretend that it was a real, battling Pokemon, that she was a trainer going out on a wonderful adventure, or a top co-ordinator, winning contests left right and center with her amazing appeals.
When she was ten her parents gave her a sun stone, after a particularly painful fainting session - she managed to fall down a flight of stair, and broke her left arm, and at gae elevn she thought her cottonee was finally strong enough to evolve.
So she gave it the stone, and her and Whimsicott had a brilliant time, frolicking about together.
When she was twelve she wanted to be a co-ordinator. Her parents hated the idea, hated the thought of her getting hurt, but when Cecily had her mind set on something she would get it.
She left with a personal 'escort' (she thought the burly man more of a bodyguard, personally) and began her journey through Kanto. She managed to beat three gyms before she was caught in a rockslide, killing all of her current party at the time and severly injuring her 'escort'. She was left with only Whimsicott, who she'd placed in the PC for a while so she could train her other Pokemon.
She returned home on her fourteenth birthday, staying with her parents for half a year and refusing to mention the ordeal. She somehow managed to convince herself that it was all a dream, and decided she was going to travel through Unova, for her first ever 'Pokemon journey'.
Her parents downright refused (she had no idea why - they'd always been so generous before and nothing was going to happen), so she ran away.
Just like that.
How she forgot exactly what happened no-one's quite sure, but it's likely her way of dealing with the grief.
But of course, she needed more than just one Pokemon to begin her journey, so she ventured to Irnaine Island to add to her team.
Around her trainer Choral is a childish bundle of joy, one who despises violence and abhors those who hurt her trainer.
In actuality Choral is an over protective mother-type. She is fully aware that Cecily is unusual, and also know this causes her problems, so she has devoted her life to helping her trainer. She would sacrifice herself for her trainer in a heartbeat, and would hunt down and kill anyone who damaged the girl.
She is friendly, but is fully aware of the hardships in the world, and views most everyone as corruptible, given the right kind of persuasion, and so is very untrustworthy of others.
The only one she truly cares about is Cecily.
Starter, recieved from her parents.
Wears a Meadow Plate around her neck (found underground). Knows a variety of TMs, professionally bred.
The grass starter trio is often known for having a superiority complex. Cilious is no exception.
For whatever reason he is undoubtably one of the most condescending Pokemon one could ever have the misfortune to meet. He thinks himself far above everyone else - even his trainer, much to her chagrin. He looks down his nose at everyone, regardless of who - or what - they are.
He constantly has an air of 'smugness' about him, and he's competely sure of his own abilities. He acts almost aristocratically, and despite how full of himself he is actually rather intelligent, able to think strategically in battle and often devise rather devious strategies when fighting.
Of course this means that he more often than not disregards his trainer's orders, or occasionally downright refuses to fight, as such a sport is 'beneath him', if he feels his opponent isn't worth the time of day.
He's a handful, to be sure, but Choral helps put him in his place when he gets out of hand.
Captured on Irnaine Island in 'The Meadow'.
Knows 'Magical Leaf' from his parents.
Poco acts completely apathetic towards everything. He tends to disregard any sense of duty towards his trainer, and seems to act only when he sees fit - not when his trainer commands him.
He's brutal when attacking, normally going for brute strength as opposed to any sort of strategy, and vicious. He doesn't worry about how much harm he's causing his opponent, or their feelings.
That being said he's fairly intelligent, when he deems it worth his time to interact with others.
Lennox's starter, recieved from his parents. Traded to Cecily for Kismet.
Holds an Everstone. Knows a variety of TMs, professionally bred.

Name; Kristy Hill
Personality; Kristy is rarely scared, you could even say fearless. She isn't the least bit shy and is sometimes considered annoying. She likes to explore things and loves a good adrenaline rush. She does have a secret fear though, and that would be spiders.
History; Kristy was born and raised in the Kanto Region by her single mother. She spent the first few years of her life in Cerulean City, then her family moved to Viridian City. She had recieved a starter Pokemon from Professor Oak, a Charmander, and had attempted to begin her journey but quickly found out she wasn't very good at competative battling. She and her Charmander travelled around meeting various Pokemon and filling the Kanto dex to near completion.
Personality; A bit dull (Kristy hopes to solve that problem by evolving her) but very strong willed. She has great drive and potential and absolutley loves her trainer...most of the time. Flame is sometimes rebellious though.
Other; Flame has a necklace with a pendant made of a pearl she and Kristy found while exploring. Sometimes in an act of rebellion she'll try to extenguish the flame on her tail, just to freak Kristy out.
Personality; Highly intelligent and friendly. Jelly is very loyal and obedient.

Am I too late?
Name; Cole Jacobson
Cole had extremely dark brown hair that turns nearly black in the winter. His hair is nearly impossible to keep in one position, and there's almost always a strand or two sticking out. His hair isn't necessarily too long or two short, although it is a bit longer than average in the back. In front, Cole's hair slightly covers eyes that are only a bit of a lighter shade of brown. Cole's eyes speak of more intelligence than you'd normally expect from a 13-year-old, and one glare from him is enough to normally make an entire room fall silent. Cole has somewhat pale skin that nearly never gets sunburnt. Cole isn't very athletic or well-muscled, however.
As clothing, Cole normally wears somewhat tattered jeans, as well as a plain red T-shirt. The shades of red vary, although it is generally a darker color. At times when it becomes cold, Cole puts on a black sweatshirt on over his red T-shirt. You can almost always see Cole with a book, whether he's at home or trekking through the wilderness.
What Cole lacks in muscle, he makes up for in his personality. He has a silver tongue, and can make a good case for anything to happen. If confronted by a dozen soldiers, he could get them all to throw their guns to their feet with a few words. He claims to have inherited this skill from his parents, and research has found that they, too, had a way with words.
Cole is very intelligent, as well as strategic. Because of these two abilities, Cole's plans almost never fail. However, he is extremely stubborn, and because of this he will never give up on a plan of his until it is completely obvious that this plan has failed. At this point Cole will normally blame it on someone near him and walk away as fast as he can.
Cole has an... interesting past, to say the least. His early childhood was predictable enough, unless you count being slightly more wealthy than most others. He had a police officer father and business tycoon mother, both of which had very little time to spare, and in his later years Cole basically did everything himself. Cole spent most of his free time reading or socializing with friends. He never really enjoyed athletics, although Cole was teased quite a bit about this.
When Cole grew to around age 11, his parents started to have less and less free time, it seemed. However, both seemed very happy during the time they did have, and Cole put this down to some promotion at work that meant they had longer shifts. Since Cole was pretty much on his own at this point, he didn't really mind.
Then, one day, they didn't come home at all.
Cole patiently waited all day and most of the night. His parents were always working overtime, and this was normal.
Then came 1:00 AM.
Cole, who was now a Pokemon Trainer, sent out his Dewott to sit with him. He was feeling anxious now, but still he sat.
Next, 2:00 AM.
Cole was confused. His parents never stayed at work nearly this late. He decided he'd better sleep, but spent a sleepless night on the floor of his living room.
When morning came, Cole knew something was wrong. He went to school as usual, but as soon as he got home, Cole called 911 and told him of his problem. The police reported that Cole's father hadn't shown up for work in several days. They did research and discovered that Cole's mother, too, had been skipping work.
Months passed, and still the search for Cole's parents continued. No dead bodies were found, no murderers convicted.
Absolutely nothing happened.
Once night, Cole couldn't take it anymore. He filled a backpack with food, tied his Dewott's Poke-Ball around his waist, and ran away to officially start his journey.
Maybe when Cole became Champion, his parents would return.
Shell is strong yet supportive. He will never back down from a fight, and is nearly as stubborn as Cole. Shell appears to have learned a thing or two about speaking from Cole, and is decent at convincing other Pokemon to do what he says.
Other; Has a Mystic water on a chain around his neck, and has fur that is a bit darker-colored than usual.
Eve is quiet and shy. She has no real taste for battling, and is much more intelligent than you'd expect. Eve prefers to talk thing out with enemies, instead of simply battling with no reason.
Other; Has a scar on her left foreleg from a Poocheyena attack.

Assassins' Creed: Reborn, my newest RP
Hmm. This looks interesting.
What is the difference between a late SU and an initial SU?
Are "talking pokémon" like TR's Meowth permitted or no?
What are the Legendaries really like? Find out in The Life of the Legendaries
Humans and pokémon no longer live in harmony. Hear their tales in The Poké Wars Chronicles: Tales From A World At War
Cynthia once had it all: powerful pokémon, fame and hordes of adoring fans. But Ho-oh's campaign tears her life asunder. Now to survive this deadly new world, she must do the one thing that she never wanted: kill. Follow her trials through a world at war in Poké Wars: Downfall of a Champion
Late SU's are just when you sign-up after the rp has started, is all. That being said this rp has only recently started, so it shouldn't be too hard to catch up if new people want to join.
Talking Pokemon are permitted as long as an adequate reason is given. Like saying they have this weird prototype Pokemon translator thing that has recently been developed. Or something less fail. If anyone wants a 'talking' Pokemon though, please try to limit it to one, unless there's some sort of flaw in the Pokemon's abilities to communicate.
But even if there is a flaw, still try to keep 'talking' Pokemon to a minimum.
/goes off on a tangent
tl;dr - 'talking' Pokemon are okay.
im Pretty Hardcore
Name; Paxton (Pax) Harrison
Appearance;Dark-haired, Dark Brown eyes with an frightening demeanor. Generally wears sleeveless shirts with a frightening about of muscle in his arms. Body covered in scars from his dealings. Hair is a bit wild and wears a very thin beard. Looks like a hunter. Knife is on him at all times.
Personality; Stoic Worker when it comes to business. Fear of going to public places with a lot of people, due to fear of panic attacks, essentially agoraphobic. Hunts (and Catches) pokemon in free time to relieve stress, so skill set is very good for survival. Generally not a fan of groups.
History; Life was... okay for Pax. His father taught him how to hunt and raised him, because his mother left the family. He was a bit of an introvert for a long time, and finally gained friends, but just jumps from group to group with few consistent friends. He suffers from anxiety and decided to come to the island to relax with some outdoor adventuring, with no intention to hunt, just catch a few pokemon, although the knife is still on him in case of emergency.
Personality; Very creepy, as if it's always on a power high. Shivering at all times, and a sick smile on it's face at all times. Extremely powerful, intelligent and aware of it, only obeys Pax, due to Club's being Pax's starter.
Other; Black Sludge is being held.
Personality; Quiet, and goes with the flow. Follows the leader and goes with things. Frustrated at the fact that it can't lead by itself, it can be very savage in fights.

This is Weatherwitch, with my third character, since Esme died, it's okay to have another!
Name; Oscar Paine
Appearance; A range of emotions!
Personality; Oscar is a very sarcastic, cynical person, who, to the annoyance of others, is also intelligent. He loves teasing people and being nice to them, then suddenly snapping and being nasty to them. He could be called a little bit of a romantic, he flirts quite a fair bit, and usually at the oddest moments, with both genders, although mainly to guys just to freak them out. He is also addicted to his DSi and doesn't normally put it down. He sometimes expresses his feelings through PictoChat.
History; Oscar was England born and raised, by his mother and father who were never really around to care for him. Oscar discovered things by himself and entertained himself. This led to his quirky nature One day, recently, (age: 14) he discovered there was a world waiting for him that could be discovered. He immediately went to Johto and obtained his first pokemon there, Mareep, who is now an Ampharos. He then obtained through a trade an egg, who hatched into a Chatot, who he raised with much patience to become an unexpectedly powerful pokemon. He has since been to Hoenn, Sinnoh and now Unova, catching pokemon. But, now he goes to an island with only two pokemon to see if he can find anything that catches his eye.
Species; Ampharos (M)
Personality; Bowie is proud of its power, and very over confident in his ways. Very close to Oscar, Ampharos is not normally put into his pokeball.
Other; Bowie is named after musician David Bowie. (Obviously.)
Species; Chatot (F)
Personality; Very cheery and happy, always singing a song to cheer people up. Makes Oscar realise life should be about fun.
Other; Lets just say that Natterbox is a biit more powerful than in-game chatots? To make battles a bit more fair? She's also larger.
