Thread: Hero Paradigm: Rise of the Heroes (Started but signups still open)

Name: Harley Smith
Age: It varies, but never younger than 14 and never older than 50.
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Whatever gets her what she needs.
Alignment:Varies, usually on the Villain side.
Appearance: It varies, but of Harley's looks that are consistent are her hair color, skin tone, eye color, the placement of her tattoo, and general face structure. Her hair is a mid-tone brown, which is usually shoulder length, but it can be any where from practically buzzed to the small of her back. Her eyes are a rich dark brown. She has a elfish/impish facial structure, making her look like she's up to more mischief then she actually is, which is usually a lot. She has a tattoo on her shoulder, that depending on which age she is can span from her left middle finger down to her right big toe. It is a chain of tribal tattoos, with the one that will be there no matter what age being a wing of sorts right on her shoulder blade. She has a naturally lightly tanned skin-tone.
History: Harley did not grow up in a very good home when she was younger and was abused quiet frequently. This led her to become a thief, a drug addict, and a runaway. She was found again by her parents just before her 13th birthday, and on her birthday in an attempt to be rid of her, they signed her up for Doc's experiment, and she gladly agreed, wanting an escape from her parents, and she got it. Right after she got her powers she time traveled into the future by a few years, and learned how to use her powers, getting the hang of them, and her tattoo, at the age fourteen. (The rest of her history will change and be added to as you see older, or younger versions of her.)
Powers: Time and space travel.
(I will only be playing the Harley that is currently in the time stream we're in, otherwise it'll get confusing, I'll try to post what age she is at the beginning of each of her posts. Sorry if this form is a bit confusing :P)

Name: Spark Lang

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Bisexual

Alignment: Hero

Appearance: Spark is an usual looking teenage boy who stands at 5,8 with a slim build, but his body is toned too the point where it would look impossible for a sixteen yearold. He has brown eyes with chest nut hair and olive colored skin. But his most unusual feartures are the pair of squirrel ears and tail in place of human ears and a squirrel tail protruding from his tail bone. He typically wears an orange tee shirt with a pair of black shorts and orange boots. In combat, Spark wears a pair of Iron Cross shaped Tonfas that he wears like bracelets to aid in punching.

History: Spark had a normal childhood and loving parents. Spark was always an good kid who tried his best to get high marks in school, he was even apart of his High School's soccer team. However this all changed a year ago. His parents were brutally murdered in a burgrally gone wrong. He called the cops after he escaped... But he was to late... Supporting himself and living in a boarding house. He struggled to get through life. When he found the ad from The Doc, he decided to join and see if could get some money to get by... After the Doc's experiments, he became what he is today. With his newfound power, he vowed to help anyone who was being wronged like he was.

Powers: Because of Spark's altered DNA, he his almost super human. His agility is on par with an olympic gymnist and runner, and he can lift 3 times more then a profesional body builder. (He often uses this strength in battle by throwing punches or throwing objects at his foe.) His senses such as hearing and sense of smell are much higher then that of a human. But this comes with the downside that he is much more vulnerable to high pitched frequencies, to the point where he'll pass out if he's exposed to them to long.

Name: John "Dynamo" Oates
Age: 27
Gender: M
Sexuality: I never answer this one, call me a douche if you want (please, it's my only sense of identity)
Alignment: Bad guy
Appearance: Unknown, always seen in full armor. Armor.
History:John was an incredible SAS soldier - and he was chosen to test the NX-001 prototype battlesuit that would finally bring back British military dominance. To augment the armor's enhancements to the user, he was sent off tot the Doc.

Psychoanalysis: John can analyse the logic of any situation within fractions of a second. This has given him a ridiculous reaction time and a 100% hit rate with both of his semi-automatic weapons. Furthermore, he has a sixth sense and can detect the environment around him without looking at it or even sensing it in any conventional way.
Hyper-Agility:John is capable of mindspinning levels of acrobatics, which enhances his in-trained CQC.
Chameleon: John can turn himself and anything in contact with him invisible.

Jetpack: Limited charge - must recharge after approx 10 second's use
"Overdrive": NX-001 allows John to run at approximately 60 mph, although turning significantly at such a speed is difficult. (Could follow a turn on a motorway maybe)
Endurance: NX-001 can take many rounds of standard caliber and has it's own personal energy shield. When using Overdrive, John can run through a brick wall without damaging the armor.
Equipment (because this bit is important, all of this is very high tech and most of it folds when not being used):
Assault Rifle: Standard weapon, more accurate than a modern assault rifle and has similar penetratig power.
Sniper Rifle: One shot, but it's a hideously powerful shot. Kinetic coils require charging before gun fires.
Shotgun: Close-Range, no finesse.
Pistol: Stealth/Backup/Quickdraw weapon. Has a burst-fire setting and is silenced but both do not work together.
Knife: Stealth/Backup weapon. Very sharp blade cuts through almost any armor (tested on NX-001)

@Not super thrilled with the weapons. All his powers are fine buuut the weapons make me uneasy.

How about just the AR/Pistol/Knife? They were my original plan.

thats a little easier to swallow my biggest issue is how you would incorporate them without killing a players character.

Name:Summer Williams
Age: 23

Appearance:Summer has dark red hair that's almost auburn. Her eyes are a dark blue and Asian-like eyes, but her skin is pale with a heavy splattering of freckles across her face and arms. She has a tall and athletic build, standing at 5 feet and 7 inches in height. She still has braces on her teeth. Her face has a impish look to it. She's well toned and pretty. She radiates elegance and wears heels most of the time, and never has trouble walking in them, or even fighting in them.
History: Summer followed after Harley through one of her Portals, however as she was not with Harley she was spit out at a random time, which is now. However, for her own personal past, Summer is very secretive about that, but she will not deny the fact that she is married, considering she never takes of her wedding band and engagement ring, but she won't say who she's married too. She also occasionally mentions her siblings, but never her parents.
Powers: Hyperkinesis(Which is where her body is in perfect balance, allowing her to do all sorts of crazy stuff) and Pyrokinesis

Name: Benjamin Franks
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Alignment: Villain
Appearance: Benjamin is rather scrawny, and has a lithe frame and is rather short, only standing at 5ft6. Due to him weighing very little he can be pushed around rather easily. Despite being generally feeble, his shoulders and back are well toned and strong. This is mainly due to the pair of magnificence gray speckled wings that have sprouted from from his back. There a lot larger, longer, and wider then most people think wings would be for a human wings to have. His hair is dark brown and falls below his shoulders and he usually keeps it back in a ponytail. He wears a sword hilt at his hip and a quiver of arrows and a bow between his wings and shoulder blades. Like his hair is eyes are a dark brown as well. His feet are akin to that of bird talons., but much larger.
History:Benjamin grew up out in the country with his parents. After a freak accident with a hawk when he was young he had been terrified of birds ever since, despite the fact that his mom was a Falconer. He grew up in area were sports were always a big deal, but he never was very good at it, and would rather study, so this cause him to be unpopular, but he still had a few good friends. In his senior year in high school he found his girlfriend cheating on him with his best friend, and he left the two of them behind, and immersed himself in his studies, and became the valedictorian of his class. He went to a prestigious college and got his degree in environmental sciences, having a passion for the environment. He saw the ad in the newspaper shortly after he got his degree and decided to try it out, wanting to see what would happen. Shortly afterwards he painfully grew his wings and his feet morphed into the talons they are now. Soon her found himself musing over the fact that humans shouldn't rule the world as they're ruining it, so he gladly followed Varis when he called the dark-hearted supers together.
Powers: He has the power to talk to birds of all kinds, the vision of a hawk, flight, and his bones are hollow, and his heart beats rapidly fast.
Other: He has gained several pet birds of prey since he has been morphed and is no longer scared of them.

Name: June Smith
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Sexuality: (She's twelve)
Alignment: Hero
Appearance: Her hair is a dark brown with mahogany highlights and falls just below her shoulder blades with a slight wave too it. She wears it in a loose side braid hanging over her left shoulder. Her skin is pale in comparison to her dark hair and she sunburns rather easily. Her eyes are just as dark as her hair, and are brown as well. She's always smiling so it's hard to tell what her eye shape and size is. She's an average height for a 12 year old at about 4ft10 tall. She has a petite build and looks very cute and innocent.
History: Her mother was not ready to be a mother when she had her and when June was 1, her mother handed her over to her dad, who has been taking care of her ever since.
Powers: She can see a person's own personal time line, future, past and present when she looks at them, and she can make plants grow, but she can't control them.

Name: Z (Real name unknown - she keeps it confidential)
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Alignment: Hero
Appearance: Z has light skin and dull, blue eyes. Her hair is short and blonde. She often wears a plain grey T-shirt and bluejeans and her watch is always on one wrist- she has a bracelet on the other, and if someone paid attention closely, they'd probably notice that the two switched places every so often. Just under her fake - but incredibly realistic- skin is extremely efficient waterproof material. Running through her veins with the blood is wires, and many of her insides are replaced or enforced with computerized equipment, with extremely specialized things on her brain, making her able to still think the way she does but also to make her able to control the entire computer. Whenever she is thinking extremely hard or doing something else that requires a lot of energy from the computer, a faint whirring noise can be heard, usually from her head.
History: Z grew up as an orphan. She ran away from the orphanage to seek the Doc upon seeing his advertisement, and she became part of his experiments very willingly. She was glad to receive the computer, and she loves her powers, using them often, but is very cautious about exposing them.
Powers: Z is a cyborg. Though she looks normal, all of her skin is fake, stretched over waterproofing material that lies just beneath it. Her 'watch' is actually a part of her arm and it allows her to execute certain functions (such as ones involving screens) without involving her arm opening up and drawing attention. She can connect to just about any sort of plug, can also use any conceivable wireless connection, and is able to sustain energy for both her human parts and her computer system by either method of gaining it (eating/sleeping or charging). She can do pretty much any electronic feat possible, including intercepting radio waves, hacking systems, taking photographs, memorizing every single thing she sees and documenting it automatically, hypersensitivity (hearing things out of human hertz range, seeing things out of human light sight range, etc), even printing documents, seeing with thermography, etc. She fights by sliding metal claws out from her hands, arms, and almost anywhere else she wants. Normally, though, she looks like an entirely ordinary human being.
Other: Her system cannot be hacked and even if someone tried, she would pick up on in immediately no matter how discrete it was.
