Ray looked at the remaining heroes "I be in the training hall once I have changed to more appropriate attire." he exited the meeting room and rode the lift down to the rooms below it. The sterile hallway lead off to the distance, the entire floor was converted for rooms. Stopping at a door marked with soot he pushed open the door. Ray's room was riddled with books, cultural artifacts and a large world map that hung on the wall. With a sigh of relief he took off his suit and donned a pair of sweatpants. exiting the room, Ray hit the lift switch again and entered into the Training Hall. Set up ready for any ability the training hall stretched for the whole floor with a high vaulted ceiling for acrobatics. Ray headed to the track the surrounded the hall and began to jog.

Varis still in the guise of the middle aged man watched as the women got up to leave. Her whispering of her name had thrown him off greatly. Coming to his sense he quickly rose and followed the women. "Who are you? How did you recognize me?"

Erina followed Laura and Dawn to the Training Hall. Huge, birdlike wings grew from her back and she wondered if they would actually be aerodynamic.
Laura looked around, wondering what she should do. She needed to work on her powers, but that wouldn't be good for anyone else. I guess I should exercise...?

Ray smiled as he saw a group enter the hall. Jogging over he called out "Laura!" stopping close to her he finished what he was saying. "I understand you are hesitant to practice your powers, don't be. Feel free to practice on me." Ray held out his arms in an opening gesture.

Dawn had headed to her room, well the room she chose as soon as she reached the hall, before heading up to the training hall. She looked around and unpacked her stuff, which she had left outside of the meeting room. She set up a empty cage, with no visible animals to be seen. That is until she pulled two small creatures out of her pockets, Tiny and Teeny. They were Sugar gliders. She kissed both of their heads and put them in the cage, before shutting it. They made little noises in protest. "Sorry darlings," she told them, "I don't want you two to get hurt." She smiled at them and then changed into a pair of athletic shorts and a tank-top. She pulled her sneakers back on and headed back upstairs. She took in everything and grinned at the sight of the track, but then she frowned, her heart pounding in fear. She didn't want to fail.

Kori headed to the hall of rooms and chose one, leaving her bag in the corner. She sat on a bed, listening to the people come and go. When it was finally quiet she rose to her feet and changed her clothes. She changed into a pair of athletic shorts and an army tank top which was in iconic camo. On the front it read, Go army! and on the back Beat Navy!. She had gotten it at an Army Navy football game a few years back, and it was one of her favorite t-shirts. She braided her hair and pulled on a pair of sneakers and stepped out of the room and headed towards the lift.

    (26)
Harley paused and looked at him. "I know you very well," she informed him with a smirk, "You just don't know me yet." She started to walk towards the shadows, "The name's Harley," she told him right before stepping through time and space, though it merely looked like she was melting into the shadows.

    (35)
Harely "reappeared" just outside the meeting room. She was older, and much more ragged, and her outfit was much more causal, jeans and a t-shirt, not very fitting of a woman of 35, but it worked. Her hair was longer, with a few strands of gray. The time traveler looked into the meeting room but withdrew when she noticed Doc was not yet alone. "Darn, I'm early," she muttered.

Ore got to his feet, his calculated mind reeling and whirring with ideas. You could almost hear the gears turning in his head. Oh the things he had planned, now he just needed to get to that one building. Where was it again. Oh, yes he remembered. He froze on the sidewalk grinning up at the old abandoned building. He could feel the steel humming and shaking inside, waiting for him. He quickly entered it.

"Well whoever that woman was" Severine got up flicking her mahogany copper red hair "She has no idea how to dress and act in a bar. A woman asking for a drink and wearing sunglasses? Really doesn't take a genius to figure it out" she added with a little smirk "Then again what do you expect" Severine then spoke to the bartender in French in regards to the keeping the drink on tab.

"If you don't mind" she got up and clicked her fingers as three bodyguards appeared as she started to walk away.

Laura looked at him for a second before vanishing. In that moment, a second consciousness entered Ray's mind. Though she didn't realize it, Laura hadn't taken complete control due to a slight discomfort and timidness- and also not actually being able to yet-, and Ray could probably move on his own if he wanted to. Erina probably would have been able to, as well, but it had been to short of a time for her to realize and she had been pretty shocked. He lifted his hands a bit and a small flame appeared in his cupped palms. "Huh."
Hello. Cool power you've got. If you want me out of your head, please don't be afraid to tell me.

Erina's wings grew longer and shorter as she tried to decide what would actually fly. She didn't want to do too much experimentation, since she and others could end up getting hurt if she fell. She finally settled on one length and straightened the large wings in preparation to fly. I sure hope this works.

Ray smiled as he watched the girl play with fire in his hand. Be careful with my power he thought to her test it out but don't pull to deep otherwise we might harm someone. After all Doc says I burn as hot as the sun, wouldn't want that getting out. I was going to go for a jog. Why don't you take me for a spin? Ray laughed in his head as he realized he sounded like a used car salesmen.

Looking at those still in the room Doc stood "I think I will be in the lab if I am needed." Standing Doc left the meeting room and started working in his lab that reside on the top floor.

What new mysteries this world holds now Varis thought to himself as the mysterious Harley vanished. He jumped back as a woman flanked by bodyguards passed him. He watched as the woman he had noticed passed by him. There is something different about her he thought as he stared.

OOC: I edited her powers slightly. With the limit of the objects capabilities, she can possess the object (see SU for example) but she doesn't know that yet as of now. Sorry to change it; I won't do it again.

Ray closed his hand, then opened it again, making the flame disappear once more. Then, upon the real Ray's suggestion, he began to jog. Laura was surprised at the feeling. She could feel everything he could, his feet touching the ground, the air. She could also feel the energy that it consumed, but oddly enough, she wasn't using her own energy. It was just him running, even though Laura controlled it. She guessed it was because she was only in his mind... Well, the mind is what makes one feel things such as tiredness... Odd.

Making sure that nobody was too close to her, Erina ran forward and leapt as high as she could, tilting her wings to catch the wing and starting to flap. She got up about a meter before falling on her side. Ow. She got up, rubbing her shoulder, which had received the most impact. Resolving to grow some hard scales before her next attempt, Erina adjusted her wing size more.

Kori entered the training center and watched everyone else training and working out and what have you, and was about to go through the acrobat course when she noticed Dawn standing observing the track. Kori watched her for a moment, trying to figure out why she wasn't running. She could tell Dawn was a runner, her build and fitness was enough for that, whether it was soccer or for track was harder to tell. She figured that out when she saw Dawn's eyes. She knew the track, she knew the feel and shape of it by heart, she was a track runner. But why was she so scared? How she held herself now was different from when they were in the meeting room, like that of a fallen star athlete. Maybe something happened, like an accident or she lost when everyone was counting on her. Kori doubted it was the latter, Dawn didn't seem like one to let that bring her down, she would just work her butt off instead, so it was probably the accident one.

Dawn was about to leave the track area and work on something else when Kori came up behind her. "Why are you so scared? You are not afraid of being able to run are you?" Kori challenged, her tone cold and her gaze steely and piercing. "No!" Dawn started, "I mean-" she hesitated, beginning to panic, not knowing what to say. "You know the only way to find out if you can run or not is to try it again," Kori responded in such a way that their was no way to say no. Dawn huffed and began to jog around the track. It was slow and it was obvious that no effort was being put into it. Kori quickly caught up. "What's with that? You some kind of coward? My grandma can run faster then that!" Dawn started jogging faster. "You're still not trying! Try harder!" Dawn started running, Kori lagged behind just a little. "You'll never be able to run like you did before." she hissed. Dawn felt like she going to cry, her body was screaming in protest, and her muscles felt all wrong. "Faster!" "I can't!" "Just do it, or else you'll never be able to look yourself in the mirror!" Kori shouted, her voice akin to that of a drill Sargent. Dawn dug deep down and began to sprint. Soon she reached the speeds of her personal record, then she passed the speed of the fastest high school girl , then the fastest high-school boy. Her eyes were closed tightly so she couldn't tell just how fast she was going, but she soon passed the record of the fastest woman, and was passing the average speed of a male Olympist. She finally topped out at 44 mph, running around the track twice before having to stop. she slowed down quickly, and soon was standing with her hands on her knees and breathing as though she had just run her, previously, fastest sprint. She then laid down on the ground arms stretched above her head and taking deep breaths. Kori stood over her. "You clocked in at 27 mph at your fastest, and you ran that fast for two laps," Kori told her with a smile, "There's much more to you then reflexes. And I knew you could do it." Kori smiled at her, and Dawn chuckled in between breaths.

    (35)
Harley followed Doc upstairs. She used her teleportation to appear in the room. "So what are you working on this time?" She asked heading towards where he was working, "More ways to improve the human body or just a new computer?"

(For how fast Dawn was going, yeah, I know it's not that fast for super speed, but just so you know the fastest recorded time for a human was 27.79 MPH, and was only sustained for a short while, so it's an impressive start for a 17 year old girl with super speed.)

"It is always great having bodyguards to do your dirty work" the dark copper red head smiled as she was being watched by her bodyguards. "Not much to make a commotion at the bar but that's always what it is" she added with a little smirk as she sat down in the lobby of the hotel reading a magazine seemingly waiting for her transportation out of the hotel

OOC: Yea, its all fine. Powers can be developed and shaped in new ways, similar to how you would train your body to a new sport or to get better to an old one. Also if yall wanted I can create a more concrete area for the RP to take place or I can leave it kinda ambiguous as it is now. Thoughts?

Ray laughed I don't know how that would work. I think you might be right though it will take awhile to test it though I have a lot of energy stored away. As Dawn flew by them on the track Whoa, that was fast. Mind if we take a break for a sec?

    _
"Oh, nothing has complex has what changed you" He stopped as he turned and saw Harley "Harley? You are older than last time."

    ~~
Varis after weighing the pros and cons decide to follow the woman. Quickly stepping out of sight he shifted into the older wealthy Mr. Johnson. "Excuse me, Mam?" he called as he approached her cautious of her bodyguards.

Ooc: I'd like it to be in a concrete place, that'd help a lot :D Also a seasonal period would be nice too.

Dawn took a few more deep breaths, her breath finally evening out. Rising to her feet, she looked out on the track and took a starting position back up, and blazed down the track, even though her body hurt and her muscles were sore. However, her mind was enthralled, and her nerves danced with excitement, physically she was tired, but mentally her mind kept pushing her faster, and longer.

Kori watched the others and a sad smile crossed her face. They all had cool powers and what not, and what did she have? Nothing but her military background. She sighed a bit, pushing Ray and Laura's conversation aside, not realizing that it actually wasn't physically happening. She looked at Erina. "You might want to make your bones hollow," she informed the younger girl, "That's the way all flying things work, they way very little or put forth a lot of effort to get off the ground, and I'm pretty sure you want to out forth as little effort as possible." With that being said, she headed off to the acrobat course and looked it over.

Harley shrugged. "It really depends on your perspective," she replied, "I'm just as old as last time somewhere in some when, but I'm as old as I've ever been in my timeline." She shook her head, "Never mind, that didn't make much sense. Yes, I'm older, but it's not a sudden thing, I have the days and years to back up my aged old, I didn't just magically become older." Harley looked closer at what he was making. "Last time you saw me it was on my thirteenth birthday correct? Today I'm just a few days shy of 36," she informed him. She glanced at him, knowing he was going to ask how, or figuring it out.

Severine noticed a man, an older man coming up to her "Excuse me, ma'am?" which did not really please her "Ma'am? I'm not old" she glared at him "Do I look old to you, body check. Guards" Severine had her bodyguards check on the wealthy man "Make sure that anything that could be harmful is removed and even things that could change....nevermind just take everything" she ordered.

    OOC: Oh, okay, cool!

Sure. Ray quickly slowed to a walk and stepped to the side, off of the track.

"Good idea! Thanks," Erina said after Kori made her suggestion. Wait, how do I do that? Anything I do could potentially kill myself if I mess with stuff inside my body... She looked at her hand; the girl didn't even know bone structures. She could easily rip a hole in her muscles... "Excuse me," she said to Ray, not remembering that Laura was possessing him, "Do you know if I can get pictures or something of muscles and skeleton of the human body? I need to know where they are."

Ray turned towards her automatically upon being addressed without use of his name, in which case he probably wouldn't look up due to Laura's not being used to being addressed by a name other than her own. Not knowing the answer to the question, Laura, without thinking, gave Ray complete control of his own body, expecting him to respond. She cowered in the back of his mind, not even realizing that she had dropped control.

OOC so sorry guys got crazy busy. I am going to work out more of the city but for now imagine it like New York.

Ray felt Laura retreating to the further reaches of his mind and shudder slightly at the feeling. Then realizing she was expecting him to answer looked at the girl in front of him. With a smile Ray addressed her "It seems my companion wishes me to respond. Doc might have some in or no where you can get some. To the best of my knowledge we don't have a library. Although, I could be wrong."

"Harley," Doc apprised her carefully "If your powers have progressed past what they were when you changed I don't need to stress how careful you need to be."

    ~~
Varis as Mr. Johnson smiled to himself, he had no need for weapons not when he could change who he was. Varis appraised the women as he was frisked Why are you different? he thought She couldn't have changed with us, I would have remembered her. Then realizing he was silent he spoke"I meant no disrespect I meant to only ask you a question."
