Thread: The Half Project: Scattered Shards

OOC: The military Merges, durr.

Ozias jumped, landing in the midst of the small fight that was ensuing, using Protect around the Briarwoods and himself. "Enough, please! Anthony, what did you see?"

"What the hell do you mean by that!?"

"What he means is why did you attack them?" Raine replied for him, "He can sometimes let go of his words and forget what the heck he's talking about himself."

"Because I don't trust the government." Anthony nodded to each of his siblings, and the three wrapped their chains around the two large, robotic Merges. "Talk."
"What is there to say?"
The three tightened their grip.

"That's a good point," Sophia said, "But remember, we're stronger than they are."
"How do we know that?" Ozias replied, "They could have thousands of Merges in there."

OOC: This is getting a little boring... We gotta come up with something, and fast...

OOC: I'll come up with something. I have to go for tonight, but I'll have an idea by the time you go online tomorrow. Probably.

OOC: Inference: You haven't come up with anything.
Conclusion: I need to.

Observation: Anthony pulled out a pair of rusted hooks, the last of the hooks that he'd used to escape Lab 23. "Time to see what these two really look like, I guess." He attached the hooks to his chains and pulled the two large Merges' masks off.
"Lexi... Colby... Do these two look familiar..?"

OOC: I've come up with some things, they just aren't very good and I'm trying to get a decent idea. So far, I've just got "carry on with the main plot and build something up once we've got as far as we can with it based on what's left". Also, what's with the robot thingy, is that to do with the avatar?

O-II leaned against the side of a vehicle. It was almost time. He just hoped he could do something useful with the time he had left. He examined the two Merges. "I, for one, and, by extension, Ozias, have no idea who these two are. Not even a bit of an idea. Which is saying something, 'cos I'm still telepathic. Except in fights."

OOC: You needn't worry yourself with that speech pattern.

'Pam' broke out of the chains. "You... You sound familiar..."
"Josie... You look younger." Anthony replied. "A couple of decades younger."
"H-how did you know my real name?"
"Anthony... Who is this?"
"This" Anthony stated, "Is Josie Briarwood. My mother."

Ozias began clapping. "Big family reunion! Love a big family reunion! Who else loves a reunion like this? Surely I'm not the only one! Anyway, so, the other one, is that, um... Your... Dad! That's it! Is that your dad? Probably. Might not be. Big universe."

The other robot was gone.
"Problem is, our dad's been dead for a year and two months. I can't imagine anyone other than the Project could have revived him. Which leads me to wonder... Josie, how are you alive?"
"I didn't die in the fire. I was hospitalized for a while before the government decided to pay me a visit. I begged them to get me out of that hospital... And they did. However, they had one condition; That I be subject to the research they stole from the Project..."

O-II pulled a disgusted expression. "Couldn't they just simulate it? Governments disgust me when it comes to science."
"Wait! Hold everything!" Ozias shouted, "Hoenn has a government?"
"How do you not know that?" Calix replied.
"Okay, sorry."

"That's just messed up! Wouldn't the goddamn government want to STOP the project instead of re-creating it!? What the fu-" Lilith was frustrated of course, and the younger merges gasped everytime she cursed. She kept ranting on, "BUT NOOOOOOOOO! THEY HAD A-"

"Um, do you have any idea when she's gonna stop?" Caleb asked.
"-AND EVERYTIME WE WALK OUTSIDE, EVEN THE POKEMON ARE ALL LIKE-"
"Honestly, I stopped listening after the first sentece," Kaida replied,
"-BUT THEY JUST HAD TO TEAR-GAS ME! I MEAN SERIOUSLY-"
"Just ignore her rants, please," Aaron told the others.
