Jade looked inside the lab. She saw a couple of people inside and what she thought was a glimpse of Professor Oak and the pokeballs.

She felt tempted to go inside,but decided to wait until the others went in with her.

Sandgem town,
Sinnoh

Jonathan spotted a boy fixing his bike and one more boy that is greeted him. Jonathan walked right at them, greeting them "ahoy mate! Here for starter?" Jonathan asked, playing with his poketch

"Ohai." Noa replied to the boy. "And, yes, I am here for a starter.

Elm's Lab
Newbark, Johto

Jimmy turned his attention to the girl who had just arrived at the lab and waved. "Oh hi, I'm Jimmy! Yeah, I'm here for a pokemon as well."

Outside Rowan's lab
Sandgem Town

"Me too."
Jakku said, still focused on his bike.
Finished, he scrambled to his feet, wiping grease onto his jeans.
"Hi, I'm Jakku Ebansu. Which starter ya after, pirate boy?"

Elm's Lab
Newbark, Johto

Justin waved to the girl as well. "The names Justin. I bet you're here for your first Pokemon as well." He replied. He was getting sick of waiting. "I wonder where the Professor is..."

In front of Oak's Lab
Pallet, Town


Peeking again in the window, Mike saw Oak and the three pokeballs. Eager for the awesome Squirtle, he told the others.

"Come on let's go already! Other girl not Jade let's go!!"

Jade nodded she opened the lab's door and walked into the room.

She looked around and saw hundreds of pokemon related books, paintings and some small plants.

Jade was anxious. What would the pokemon be like? Would it be a male or female? Would it enjoy batttling? Would it be energetic? Would it like her?

Oak's Lab
Pallet Town, Kanto


Karen was slightly stunned by the hyperactive boy. "Um... okay, we can go in..." she said quietly, giving Mike a wide berth as she went inside. She paused by the doorway. "I'm Karen, by the way. Not... not-Jade."

She then stood by Jade, looking eagerly at the pokeballs. "You ready? We're about to go on the biggest adventure of our life!" she said breathlessly.

Oak's Lab
Pallet,Kanto

"Born Ready." Jade answered as she approached the poke balls.

She looked around for the professor. "Where is he? Can we just take the poke balls?'

Oak's Lab
Pallet Town, Kanto

"I-I think so... the door was just left unopened..." Karen said hesitantly, looking around and stepping forward.

She picked up the pokeball marked Bulbasaur, and looked around again. "Maybe if we left a note or something...?"

"Yeah, and we'll just leave the Squirtle for Mike when he decides to come in..." she whispered as she picked up the poke ball with a Charmander.

"This place seems pretty empty..."

Oak's Lab
Pallet Town, Kanto

Karen nodded, and scribbled a note on a piece of paper she had in her bag.

"Well, I guess we can leave now..." she said, taking one last look around. She walked outside, and let out her new Bulbasaur.

"Saur?" He said, looking around.

Karen smiled, and kneeled down. "Hello there. I'm Karen. Nice to meet you."

Just then, the door to the lab opened. A tall, elderly man stood, towering over Noa. "Ah, you three must be the beginning trainers scheduled to recieve a starter Pokemon and set off on your journies today, are you not? Why don't you come inside?" he asked, as Noa nodded, and walked into a room full of books on Pokemon, and scattered papers. "Jakku, Jonathan, and Norm, am I right?" the man said. "Actually it's Noa." Noa corrected.

Nuvema town, Unova
Near Route 1 Entrance


Rose walked into the town, looking around. So this is Nuvema town... It's so quiet... She thought, passing by the houses. A flock of Pidove scattered from in front of one the houses, startling Rose. She jumped back a little bit, and sighed.

I can't be a proper trainer if I'm this jumpy... She thought, calming herself down. She kept walking around, until she spotted Juniper's Lab.

Ah, There it is! Rose ran over to the lab. When she got there, she noticed a boy leaning against the building like he was waiting for something. He must be one of the other trainers getting their starter today... Rose thought, coming up to the boy.

"U-Uh, Hi...." Rose said, "Are you waiting for Professor Juniper?"
