Not important enough to have been targeted, Nuvema town is a true refuge for all of Unova's citizens who survived the grueling journey to the town. Located on the south-east corner of the region with only one actual entrance to the town, it is very defensible, and is currently one of the few independent towns.
Accumula Town has been annexed by the Eastern Unovan Army as a refugee camp, housing refugees from Striaton City and all those around it. Burdened by the influx of refugees since mutated Pokémon started pouring out of Pinwheel Forest and Nacrene City, the EUA doesn't allow any other refugees to enter the town, leaving them outside to die.
Once an independent town like Nuvema, even having its own militia, it has been overrun by mutated Pokémon for a few months now, and the new inhabitants have cut off Accumula Town from the central EUR. Striaton city is avoided by travelers and a constant concern for the EUR.
Post-apocalyptic Nacrene City doesn't even remotely resemble the old town; it has been completely ruined by mutated Pokémon, and is overgrown with plants. It is currently considered part of Pinwheel forest.
Barren and inhospitable. Home to some of the wasteland's most horrible abominations.
Skyarrow Bridge did not survive the war, and as such the south-eastern corner of Unova is only accessable by heading south through the forest north of Nacrene City and Striaton City.
Outer Castelia encompasses the docks and most streets bar Castelia Street. The docks are overrun with Feral Ghouls, while the streets resemble a pre-war ghetto, filled with proud locals and refugees alike. Outer Castelia has its own militia which keeps the streets safe, along with supporting GameFreak Co. robots.
Barely touched by the nuclear war due to Castelia City's unique defensive system located in the Entralink, which protected Nimbasa City as well. Castelia Street is where the elite of post-apocalyptic Unova lives in the lap of luxury, protected by GameFreak Co.'s powerful defensive robots.
Nimbasa City is one of the more prosperous wasteland cities, owing to the good trading routes and the presence of the Plasma Brotherhood's Central Unovan headquarters there, who keep critters and raiders alike out of the city.
Most of the bridge's struts have remained intact, and serve as small docks for the rafts sailing between The Divide and Central Unova.
A scarred, hostile, radioactive landscape. Where once cities prospered, there now is nothing but cracked landscape, scarred by nuclear fire, only inhabited by some of the horrendous creatures of post-apocalyptic Unova. The Divide is where much of the Old World sleeps, covered by ash and sand, flayed by sandstorms. The Divide is also home to some of the biggest horrors known to post-apocalyptic Unova, avoided even by the Plasma Brotherhood. Rumor has it an abandoned missile base is buried underneath the cracked rocks of Twist Mountain. Inhabited by a unique species of ghouls named Marked Men.
Like Mistralton city, Driftveil was a priority target for the Hoenn Military, and has burned in nuclear fire. It currently makes up the southern portion of what has been nicknamed the Divide, a barren, poisoned, radioactive landscape filled with mutated Pokémon and ghouls.
Similar to Driftveil, Mistralton is nothing more than a barren, hostile landscape, poisoned by nuclear fire. It makes up the southern half of the area nicknamed the Divide.
Not much is known by Twist Mountain. The dare-devils who had the guts to walk The Divide and survived all met their fate here, or so a tale says. Rumor has it an abandoned missile base lies here.
While technically not a part of The Divide, what once was Iccirus City is still as inhospitable as the actual Divide. According to a tale told in many bars in Outer Castelia, a gang of hardy ghoul raiders have their base here, killing off anyone who has successfully crossed the Divide.
Tubeline Bridge has remained partially intact, and has been preserved remarkably well due to the lack of people crossing it.
Another one of those mysteries of the wastelands. Those who claim to have visited it tell fascinating tales of humans clad in black power armor and amazing flying machines, all decorated with the Old World Unova sigil, which has led most to believe that this may very well be the Enclave's home base.
Horribly scarred by nuclear fire, Lacunosa Town is now nothing but a snowy plain, flayed by horrible blizzards and scoured of any and all human life by what are rumored to be Enclave soldiers equipped with high-tech Old World energy weapons.
The home of the Eastern Unovan Republic, Undella Town prospered after the Vaults opened and the EUR was founded. Protected by the EUR's army, Undella Town is a peaceful place, bustling with trade, where ghouls and humans alike live in harmony.
Annexed by the EUR, Black City is but an empty shell of its former Old World glory, being reduced to rubble. Under EUR rule, Black City has prospered, despite constant mutant attacks coming from the forest to the south.
A mystery of the wastelands. Nobody knows what happens here. Rumored to be an Enclave base.
