Miss Harris looked at her watch.
"I'm afraid that it's time to go, but I've been instructed to take you all to the Machotia Tournament, where you'll watch the Machotia Academy's finest trainers battle it out," she said to the girls. "Follow me."
"Oooh, exciting!" Kitty said eagerly, following Miss Harris.
"But don't we still have classes?" Sayuri asked, reluctantly following. "This was not on the schedule I got."
"Don't worry," Miss Harris replied. "It's not part of your schedule, but the teachers have been told to do this." They moved through the urban area, going down a valley and up a hill. Finally they arrived at a field, full of battlefields, where battles were about to take place. Alice rushed off to one where an Ursaring was growling at an opponent.
OOC: If you want we can move over to the Machotia thread.
"Oh, boy. How am I supposed to study in a place like this?" Sayuri muttered in slight annoyance. After a moment, she sat down and pulled out a crochet needle, and a large ball of yarn that was connected to what appeared to be a jacket in the making. She immediately resumed her work, tuning out the action around her.
The groups of girls filtered back into the school and Alice looked back across the valley towards Machotia Academy. She would return there, almost definitely. As they re-entered the battlefield for Co-Ordinating Miss Harris turned to them.
"Ladies, the trip over to Machotia took up longer than we expected, and the time now is one o'clock. Have lunch and after that go to your lessons," she said to the girls.
Kitty headed for the cafeteria, but not before shooting a glance over her shoulder at the valley leading to Machotia. She already felt....different.
"Okay, bye!" Sayuri chirped, off like a shot towards the cafeteria without a second thought.
Alice reached the dining hall, finding several tables. She headed over to one, grabbing a plate and loading her plate with food. She was starving and needed something to eat.
Kitty was beside her. "Did you have a good time?"
Sayuri was off by herself with her Espeon, somehow eating her food daintily whilst still scarfing it down like she had some kind of wasting illness. Her Espeon couldn't have looked more worried.
"Yeah, it was really fun. The boys were so nice," she replied.
Kitty smiled, still in a bit of a blissed-out haze.
