Thread: The Chronicles: Kanto Days

Annika picked up Peti. "Oh my.... what could be on fire?" she asked AC. Peti looked sat and said "Lil, Peti......."

"We should check with the Pokecenter," AC suggested as they walked passed it. AC entered and went up to Nurse Joy. "Nurse Joy, my friends and I came over to Viridian from Pallet Town. We were wondering where the gym was but we couldn't help notice all the sirens and smoke. Is there something wrong?"

"How unfortunate of you," the Nurse replied, "The gym caught on fire while it was being renovated. However, the firefighters have managed to subdue the flames. So there is nothing wrong, but I suggest you go to Pewter City just north of here. There is a contest if you are all interested and the gym there is awaits trainers."

AC returned to his friends and explained what had happened.

"Gym on fire? That sucks. Well, I wonder what kinds of Pokemon are in Kanto....." Annika said. "Peti! Peti!" Peti danced again.

"Well, we just have to travel and find out. We also have our Pokedexes for that," AC said, "So, if we don't have anything to do here. I guess we can head over to Pewter City."

OOC: Everyone should begin posting their intended parties for the Kanto region in the OOC thread. Also, if you have a Pokemon to capture on mind please let me know about the plot for it and I'll have to approve it.

"Yeah, let's." said Annika.

OOC: Is it okay if she sees a few wild Pokemon of interest and scans them?

OOC: That'll be fine. Skipping to the route.

With that the group left Viridian City. AC was partly heartbroken because he couldn't get his first gym badge, but Pewter City wasn't that far away. So, the group began trekking once again on a route full of new Pokemon.

Annika saw a purple mouse-like 'mon. Rattata, the Mouse Pokemon. It searches for food all day. It gnaws on hard objects to wear down its fangs, which grow constantly during its lifetime. "Peti!" Peti called out.

"Look at all the Pokemon," AC remarked, "I'm not going to capture any yet, but I wonder which Pokemon I'll develop bonds with in the future."

"Viridian City was pretty." Kairi thought aloud.

"Kanto in general seems like a nice place. I hope Pewter is just as great," AC responded to the whole group as they made their way on the route.

"I'm pretty sure the Pewter Gym Leader uses Rock Type." Kairi thought aloud. "But I'm not completely sure."

"Well," AC said, "I know I will have a tough time. My Abra is not really a fighting Pokemon. Only if it were to evolve. Then, Kadabra would take on any opponent, but with Abra it's much more difficult."

"I shouldn't have to much of a hard time, Ralts knows Magical Leaf and Rock types tend to have poor special defense." Kairi said.

OOC: Is it alright if Kairi catches a Growlithe here?

OOC: I wonder what generation Sun Stones entered at.....
