"Do I?" He flicked his tail a few times, watching it with apparent interest. "Oh, that's right, I do."
In actuality, of course, he had known all along; he was just in a comedic mood.

Birdsong - An exploration of the human psyche at a point of being highly unstable, yet stable enough to recognise its insanity. Also officially the second-best piece of dark fiction of this year's Winter awards season and Fic of the Month of March (and technically April) 2013. Interested? You should be. Give it a look.
Also, I play Animal Crossing: New Leaf. If you don't like it, tough, and if you do, let me know. It'll be the closest thing I'll do to socialising this summer!
Elysion was unable to scream once again when Leavanny threw her up the stairs. She eyed the cake sadly, but said, "What do I do up here...?"
Leavanny looked at the tail. "It looks like you were in deep trouble when you got the tail."

"What do you mean by that?" He was genuinely intrigued by this observation.

"There's a scar near the base of it." she said.

He looked blank.
"There is?"

"There is." said Leavanny. "And it's starting to swell up...." she continued.

Still looking blank, he said, "This is news to me."
This Guy just shrugged.

Elysion decided it was the right moment to rush downstairs while That Guy, This Guy, and Leavanny were engaged in their conversation. She sprinted into the kitchen, hoping there would be some sweets in the refrigerator.
Leavanny caught Elysion, walked upstairs, and threw Elysion down them. Back on the first floor, she replied "Must have been my Elysion pushing."

"What've you got against Elysion, anyway?" he asked, the thought suddenly occurring to him.

Elysion rolled down the stairs screeching. At this point she was quite exasperated and gave a huff of defeat. She sat on the steps of the stairs and watched That Guy, This Guy, and Leavanny.
"It has to learn to be patient." said Leavanny.
"It?!" Elysion exclaimed, offended by Leavanny's words. "I'm a-" She then looked at her mini profile, and noticed the Porygon on it. "A-er, well I'm not an it!"

"Um..." That Guy looked to his partner.
"...Okay..." The Snivy finished the sentence for him.
