"I see that even you were beaten, I didn't take you for a weakling." Skye snickered in disdain as he looked at Crystal's state.
Skye appeared in front of Klay his fist thrusting through the wind and slamming against his jaw, sending him flying away from where Crystal was. “No need to chat you know,” Skye laughed before jumping at him once more.
The Slayer’s leader slid on the ground and caught a kick from Skye, only to have his left fist slammed against him and sending him crashing against the wall of the room with a blast of wind. Klay slowly stood up from the floor and began coughing up blood. “I this really all you can achieve with your demon blood, guess you really are the weaker Slayer sad for a leader really.”
“Oh cause I haven’t heard that before.” Klay groaned as he clenched his fists, the flames around them increasing in size. “I’m sorry Skye but this is going to be the end, I’m going to avenge Tink’s life as well as those other Slayers you killed.”
“Oh so that’s why you’re so pissed!” Skye laughed histerically, his hand going up to his face so as to cover his laughter. “Wow, you’re really going to kill me for getting rid of all those pests, maybe you should get stronger guild members.”
“I said shut up!” Klay screamed and appeared in front of Skye before throwing a fist at him. Skye caught the fist; using the wind so as to slow the fist’s trajectory down. He caught it and slammed his elbow against Klay’s jaw.
“Even among the 4 disciples you were always the weakest one and the one that showed the least potential.” Skye smirked. “Remember when we were kids and you couldn’t even land a hit on me, sure you can land some now but those are practically lucky shots.”
“I know I’m slow and weak, hell Jeremy was able to learn the Four Beast Style in a technical one year while it took me years to even control two elements and I’m still learning more.” Klay panted heavily as he stood up once more and wiped some blood from his mouth and forehead. “But that’s why I keep trying you know.” He pointed out. “I’m not smart like Jack, Sakura, Schwarz or Evan and I’m not strong like Brine, Jakku, Gray and Lovo. Frankly I’m a total failure.”
He looked down at the floor, his eyes becoming a bit more somber as he clenched his fists. “But that’s why I always act so confident or silly, because there’s no point in feeling sorry for myself.”
“After mom had been killed it took me days to even move, it’s still hard on me after so many years.” He closed his eyes, trying back to hold his own tears as he remembered how Klarise had been killed back in Sanctuary. “But I have the Slayers, my friends who are also my family, that’s why I always try to look at the brighter side and why I want to keep educating Jeremy and be friends with Jakku and Shimo and argue with Evan about silly stuff that we both know gets me mad but he does it anyways.” He stomped forward, his leg flaring with golden flames. “So no matter how abnormal and marvelous they are I will still try hard even if I can’t be like them!”
“Don’t lecture me.” As soon as Klay had been done with his speech Skye slammed another punch against his gut, sending him flying upwards this time. Klay flipped on the air before landing on his left leg on the floor; something that caused him to groan in pain as he fell to one knee. “How about we end this Klay, just giving it our all.”
“I can agree with that.” Klay nodded his head, the golden flames around his body expanding and coming out from his back. He jumped forward and put his arms back before thrusting both of them up in the air. “Golden Mane!” He screamed as he fired a large dragon made out of the golden flames surrounding his body.
Skye didn’t do anything, instead staring at the dragon as it approached him. He stretched both of his arms out and smirked. Suddenly the flames stopped and began to slowly vanish, along with that Klay could feel his body become heavier and his breathing began to cease; as if there was no air anymore. “Null Wind, an ability that allows me to take away all of the air and even oxygen around the area.”
“Oh but there’s another handy thing about this ability.” Sky clapped his hands and with that it all fell on Klay. In one moment cuts, bruises and wounds appeared on him, causing him to scream as blood showered over him from the wounds that he had received. “I can release the oxygen and air and use it as an attack.
Skye began to fly towards Klay once more, his arm surrounding itself with wind as the wings stretched out farther apart. “Xiz’s Judgement!” He screamed before slamming his arm against Klay’s gut, stabbing through it and causing the leader’s mouth to open in a loud gasp, his eyes opening just as wide as his body went back to normal. “Finally, it’s over Klay.”
“Yeah…it is…” Klay panted.
Suddenly he grabbed on to Skye’s face a grin going across his face as his hand glowed slightly. Skye gasped and thrw himself back, a scream coming out from him as in one instant wounds began to appear around his body. All of the wounds that Klay had received had now appeared on Skye and Klay’s body had, in turn healed itself almost completely.
Skye fell to one knee, coughing up blood and clutching onto the wound of his gut. “What did you do!?” He screamed in agony as he looked towards Klay.
“I transferred all my wounds to you, well not all of them, if I had transferred them all you’d be dying by now.” Klay said while panting. “This is my second ability.” He raised his right arm up and clenched his fist. “Beast of Burden, a skill that allows me to take the wounds from others as well as myself and release them to whoever or wherever I want, this is the skill of a leader that’s willing to bear all of his team’s burdens on his backs!”
“So that’s why you were taking all of my attacks even though you can use your elemental abilities to waver through them.” Skye chuckled manically as he looked up at Klay. “And I thought you said you weren’t smart.
“I’m not.” Klay shook his head. “I just got lucky that I had the element of surprise on my side, though you always underestimate me so I always have it with you.” He explained simply before kicking Skye’s jaw, causing him to fall to the floor. “The first time I landed a hit against you, I was eight years old and you had just beaten me but when you turned your back on me I kicked you in the back and you tripped and fell on a mud puddle.”
Skye didn’t reply, instead whritting on the floor as Klay got on one knee. “I thought we were friends even if we argued, that we would always be by each other, but you and Nero betrayed me and Lovo and Kaiser, why?”
“Why?” Skye scoffed as he looked down at the floor. “Why else Klay, cause I wanted to be stronger. Just because you and your little group go around fighting together and having goals doesn’t mean everyone else does.” He raised his head, his eyes flashing along with his demented grin as he looked at Klay. “My goal is to be the strongest and everyone of those people I killed were just stepping stones.”
Klay didn’t reply, instead looking down at the floor once more as one of his swords appeared on his right hand. “You know, you might’v eappreciated those days, but to me they were nothing than my training days even then I always thought of the day I had to kill you, so kill me if you must.”
Klay just stared at Skye, pondering on what he should do. “Those wounds of yours are grave.” He stated before putting his hand on Skye’s back. “It’s over Skye.” He said as he released the remaining wounds he had onto Skye.
The other teenager only stared at Klay, a smile going across his face as he fell to the floor and became lifeless. “For what you did I should’ve used the sword, but I think everyone deserves a chance at a quick death.”
