"Yes in a way." Marisan nodded his head. "I wouldn't say it like that, more like it records everything that happens in the world."

Serah looked up at the tree, studying it closely. "Records everything, huh?" Interesting...

(OOC: Sorry my update was late... I got locked out of my house yesterday and had to sleep on the porch until my mom made it home, haha.)

'so thats a no on stocks I'm guessing' Mark joked.

He was definitely in a better or at least more relaxed mood today.

Serah smirked at Mark. "That would be a pretty lucrative way for some easy money. Remind me to look into that," Serah also felt pretty good today.

"You two take stocks and I'll go with lottery numbers." He said with a smile.

'Well you heard him the best it would be able to do is predict how the stocks would go, and then thats not one-hundred percent. Too much risk for me. I'll risk my neck sure, but I'm not risking my money on a gamble. I can trust myself not the econemy." Mark said.

"I need to show you how a PSI user gambles then." Jack said with a grin. "Trust me, there's no gamble to it." He said vaguely.

    "Gambling is unnecessary."
    Jakku waved an arm vaguely.
"I have my sword, so a wage is simple."
He glanced up at the tree, Eric zigzagging along the bark.
"What enables it to do such a thing, record all that occurs...?"

"We don't know." Marisan shook his head. "It is a mystery in that sense."

"Guys, the tree can't predict the future." Sakura corrected. "Think of it as a mirror to the past, it only records what has happened not what's gonna happen or what's happening right now." she explained.

"Besides we won't be using it for anything like that." Klay pointed out. "We've got bigger fish to fry."

A few hours later the group had reached some of the larger branches. The tree still stretched out further up but they were now standing at the top of the trunk where the branches came out. Klay and Sakura looked in awe as the group was now surrounded by the leafs of the tree. "It looks so beautiful." Sakura beamed.

"Yeah it does." Klay nodded his head.

'Yeah it'd be real pretty if it didn't feel like we were suddenly thirty pounds heavier. Well maybe sixteen and three nineths. either way. This heavy man.' Mark said making reference to one of his favorite movies the re-re-re-remastered Back to the future.

ooc: I can't tell how far we are in the future or if we are in a separate universe, especially since people still have iPhones.

Brine looked at a leaf, the leaf showed an old Charlie Chaplin movie, as Charlie ran into a wall Brine broke out laughing and almost fell of the branch. Luckily, Jeremy caught him with one of his tonfas, "How childish," said Jeremy.
"I am 24, what are you, like 10?" Brine said.
"I am 12!" Jeremy almost yelled, some birds getting scared out of the tree, "Sorry."
My approach to acting is that I am totally intuitive. I read the script and I get it. If I don't get it, I can't do it.

OOC: 400 years in the future. But because of humanity's destruction they had to start from mostly 0, technology has advanced a lot thanks to new discoveries but a lot of things are still like the present.

    "Don't yell Jeremy." Marisan scolded.

Klay saw the leafs float around him. "So I guess we should do what we came here for."

The leaves floated down around Tye, "But first...where..is...my...mother?" A chill shot through Tye, it feel like ice had condensed in his veins. That horrible women, what became of her...? He sighed, closing his eyes. Now opening them, he looked and an eerie seen folded out...a graveyard. His mother's grave, he couldn't help but feel sad despite the hate he had for her. Tye was choking on his words but he managed to get out: "How did this happen?" The scene changed again, his mother was murdered...by a skill user...on the city street. Tye had a single tear roll down his cheek before rejoining the group. Silver whimpered, affected by the sadness.
