Thread: The Battle of Two Worlds (Start-up)

OOC: I'm back...but it's X-Scissor's move.

OOC: Uh, little bit of catching up to do. Just slightly confused, since Garchomp was sent out originally, now it's Absol. Oh who cares, let's get on with it.

Hypno touched the scratches on it's face, and stared angrily at Absol. It shook it's mane and fumed at it.
Hypno's fist crackled with electricity, as it zoomed out of sight, appearing behind Absol with it's Thunderpunch ready to strike it.

OOC: Rex always keeps one Pokemon out, even when he's battling.

"Absol, dodge...!" Rex said.

Absol jumped, and turned to see Hypno using thunderpunch behind him.

Absol (in mid air) used Dark Pulse on Hypno.

Hypno exploded into a puff of smoke, it was a Double Team. Three more Hypno clones surrounded Absol, each carrying their own Thunderpunch.

"Absol, calm down and use psychic on all of them..." Rex told.

Absol used psychic, thumping all of the copies to the ground. Thus leaving the real Hypno to deal with.

"Dark Pulse." Absol sent a bolt of powerful dark energy at Hypno, sending it flying.

Alister was still watching the battle.

"So you don't need my help, huh? Fine then."

He took out Flygon's Poke Ball.

"Go!" he cried and Flygon flew out.

Alister got on to Flygon's back and flew off.

"Now to look for a place to rest..." he thought as he reached 10,000 feet.

Hypno flipped in mid-air, landing on one knee, sweating badly.
"Return." Kirk muttered. Hypno nodded, Kirk held out the Poké ball and Hypno returned into it via a red beam of light. Kirk reattatched the Poké ball to his belt, and chose another one.
"Houndoom, Flamethrower." he mumbled, chucking the ball into the air, where it exploded, revealing a curled up Houndoom. It flicked its head back, and a roaring jet of flame rushed towards Absol.

"Jump, and use Shadow Claw," Forest orded.

Absol jumped, then attacked at the houndoom.

He slashed it's face, then flipped in the air back to his original spot.

Houndoom landed back on the ground. The Houndoom growled at the Absol, then it's jaw crackled with electricity. It dashed towards Absol and snapped at it.

"Double Team," Rex ordered.

Absol did has told, and created copies of itself.

"Now, Psychic."

Absol tried to use Psychic, but it failed.

((OOC: Psychic doesn't woooork! ))

Houndoom's tail glowed silver, and it spun in a circle, causing all the copies to explode. It reached the real one and slammed it in the side with the Iron Tail.

OOC: Forgot, I edited the "slammed into the ground" part.

Absol was knocked aside, but was up in a few seconds.

"Absol, Shadow Claw," Rex ordered.

Absol growled, and slashed Houndoom repeatedly.

As the Absol scratched at Houndoom repeatedly, it breathed in deeply through it's nostrils. The bone on it's back started to glow brightly, and it launched a point-blank Solarbeam.

Absol ducked, then jumped up.

"Shadow Claw, once more," Rex ordered, again.

Absol again, scratched repeatedly at houndoom.

For the last swipe, it knocked Houndoom aside.

((OoC: ... ducked? o_o))

Houndoom was beaten badly. This Absol was faster than Kirk could possibly believe. There seemed to be only one thing for it at this point.
"Houndoom, Roar." Kirk told the beast. The Houndoom tipped it's head back, and let out an earthshaking bark.
