Thread: Battle of Aura Start Ups!!!

Aura Hall was still. Not even the wind blew as people started gathering for the battle. No one spoke. Aura guardian, Trainers, and Rangers separated int their groups. They were understandably freaked. Some people were shaking, some were as pale as a ghost. Fire, one of the two prophecy members, started talking quietly to another guardian. That started everyone to talk. Everyone was scared.

Fire looked at the growing crowd. "Soon...soon I will...no. I will live to see the light of day once more." She thought to herself.

OOC: What happen? Did somebody set up us the bomb?

OCC: We are gathering in front of aura hall. All you need to do now is talk with your group.

(So, where do i need to begin?)

OCC: Just start up a convo with a guardian. Any guardian.

"Where are we?" a brown haired girl called to Fire. "What is this place?"

"This is Aura Hall, my training ground. You nervous?"

"Y-y-yeah..." Maya stammered, nervously twirling a strand of brown hair around one finger. "W-Why did you call us here?"

Lana walked through the crowd. As she did, they parted, and she quickened her pace. Lana didn't know why she did, it just felt like the right thing to do.

She had come a long way from home, and the Aura Hall's atmosphere did nothing to make her any more comfortable. Why am I so nervous?, thought Lana. She had been through lots in her time as a ranger. But nothing quite like this.

She wanted to talk to someone very badly, to break her end of the silence. A few talked like normal, in particular a group of guardians. However, most quietly whispered, and the silence on her end of the room did nothing to calm her nerves. Lana desperately wanted to start a conversation, but she was not about to make the first move. The last thing Lana wanted to deal with was an awkward situation.

Maya looked around and saw a number of other people--some trainers, some rangers, and still others guardians like her--all milling about and trying to figure out what Aura Hall was, who had called them there, and why.

She heaved a sigh of relief, grateful she wasn't the only one nervous.

"So, um...anyone want to hear a story?" she nervously called into the crowd. She had learned plenty of tales from all across the world, and telling one of them to a few willing listeners seemed like the best way to pass the time

"OOOOHH a STORY! Yes!!!"

OCC: Good idea!!!

Lana heard an offer to tell a story behind her. She turned around, and saw that the offer had come from a guardian. Lana loved stories, and she had heard that this guardian was a good story teller. "Come on, Leafeon," Lana said as she began to walk torward the girl.

"I think a story would be nice", Lana said as she sat down in front of the guardian. Lana pulled Leafeon on her lap, and prepared herself for a story.

Maya smiled as a few people in the crowd came running to accept her offer. "Okay, these are your choices...'Grandma Raikou', 'The Little Gold Flute', 'The Three Jewels', 'The Porcelain Entei' or 'The Shiny Ponyta'...if no one wants to hear these, I will name off a different set"

As Lana heard the choices being named, she considered each very carefully. Then, she came to her conclusion.

"How about The Shiny Ponyta?" Asked Lana.

That one sounded the best, and to Lana, it sounded as if it would include a trainer creating a friendship between themself and a shiny Ponyta.

Besides, that's the only one Lana hadn't heard before. In Summerland, there wasn't a ton of excitement like the travel brochures said there were. So sometimes, when Lana wasn't in a hurry to get to the jungle and temple ruins, she would stick around the Ranger Base to listen to stories.

"Shiny ponyta!"
