Thread: Assassin's Life (Non-Pokemon)

Assassins. The only word that can define them would be stealth, people that sneak through the shadows undetected and dispatch of those that they are assigned to, that's usually what we see. However in this world Assassins are much more complicated. Assassins are warriors that will take any mission regardless of the content whether it was something as simple as transporting a package or being assigned to kill someone Assassins will do it. They can also be hired by anyone; with the right money of course.

Because of this Assassins have become pretty much public and they can start working in the Assassins way as soon as 18 if they are deemed so. However for people to become Assassins they would have to go through a great length of training to become powerful and once they become an Assassin there are three rules that will follow them.

Follow the rules of Assassins without arguing, any break of the rules will be considered as insubordination and depending on the impact of that rule the Assassin could even be charged with death.

You cannot quit. The only way to leave your career as an Assassin is to die or be branded as "Crippled" which can only occur when you have obtained a wound or some kind of condition that you cannot recover from. If an Assassin tries to quit on his or her own accord then he or she will be branded as "Wild" and will be persecuted and then killed by the Ward (the group that manages and controls all Assassins)

And last but not least never quit, no matter what happens you are not allowed to leave a mission unless it's classified as "failed" at which point the Ward will send a message to the Assassin and order for him or her to retreat.

That is the life an Assassin lives, a life of secrecy and anonymity Assassins will travel to different places, live in different places and treat different people and they are not allowed to marry or have personal relationships with the public.

So Assassin huh? yeah welcome to Assassin's Life a world similar to ours where being an Assassin is considered a proper job recognized by the whole world. Assassins are essentially people that specialize in different fields of training and will accomplish missions for money and stuff....

...however we'll none of that. You see you will not be an Assassin you do want to become one. Welcome to Assassin's Life an RP where you'll be playing as a character that is aspiring to be an Assassin, your character has the potential something that's recognized by the Ward however he or she still lacks something and as thus they have been sent to the School for Assassins in Training (SAT (yes I know)) where they'll attend classes that'll help in preparing them for the life ahead of them.

Your characters won't have powers however they are allowed to have a special talent, within reason of course. Assassins are usually trained in their talent so your character could be a hand to hand expert or a weapon expert or can also specialize in stealth and making strategies anything that would consider them a prodigy for the life of an Assassin really.

So without further ado I'd like to welcome you to SAT (yes I know!)

The Ward

The Ward is a special Association that takes care of all things regarding Assassins it is in itself an extended faction of all the governments of the world and as thus holds a lot of power in its hands. The Ward is able to control the Assassins and assign the missions as well as take care of updating their status. The Ward is also able to grant protection and immunity to all Assassins so as to make rules and laws unable to stop Assassins during their job, this essentially goes by handing the Assassin a special license that they have to show in case they encounter authorities.

The Ward is handled by the top operatives who themselves have been taken into account as the strongest Assassins and are also in good relationship with the governments of the world. The leaders are divided into the heads of 8 different families with each new head taking the position of the previous one in the Ward once the old one retires.

Rules

-Don’t want to sound rude but my word is law in other words if I tell you to stop doing something then you should with no questions asked.
- Try to get along I won’t accept any quarrels between players if you want to discuss something you can but know when to stop.
- You must follow all of the RPG sections rules
- No Godmodding
-I will assign multiple GMs to keep things around when I’m not on though I will choose them once all of the players have signed up.
- I won’t say you have to stay if at some point you feel like leaving the RP you’re allowed to but try to be committed to it the most you can if you feel like you can’t then you will be allowed to leave.
- The RP will have violence but don't go overboard with it okay I don't want a lot of gore to spill.

- Don't do a lot of OOC posts they are allowed but at least post something relevant to your character along with the OOC.
- If there's anything you plan then tell me without question.

Here are Mine

Name: Jason Miles
Age: 17

Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: Jason has white colored skin and long colored black hair that falls down to his neck. His hair is kept flat so that it can covered most of his forehead as well as the his eyebrows. He has a pair of amber colored eyes that gleam with mysteriousness and naivety, two traits that symbolize Jason very well. He has an athletic built due to training from a young age and wears a black colored jacket with multiple golden flower designs around it. The inside of the jacket is in turn white which matches with his grayish white shirt under it. He also has a pair of black jeans on and matching shoes.

Personality: Jason has a very insecure personality which also comes with an inferiority complex. He is always afraid of doing new things due to the fear of failing or not being as good as the others. Because of this he tends to give up easily before he even starts to actually do something of importance. He's also very secluded but has a protective side that shows his care for his friends and other people that he values highly. He wishes to be strong and be acknowledged by others no matter what. However because of always living under his older brother's shadow and having to compete with him Jason has almost no confidence in himself or his abilities and tends to think he's weaker than how he really is.

Talent: Jason is a hand to hand combat expert with great stamina however he also has great tactical skills and know when to be calm during a fight.

Fighting Style: Jason specializes in a fighting style where he tries to win by hurting his opponent the least possible as thus he has trained to disable weapons and subdue his opponents.

Goal: Jason hopes to one day become stronger than his brother and become a great Assassin and inherit his father's place in the Ward to try and make life for Assassins and everyone better.

History: Jason was born into the Miles Family one of the 8 head families of the Warden as thus he always saw his dad treating to his duties as one of the heads from a young age and as thus was able to make up one idea, things needed to change. He wanted to reshape the Ward so that Assassins could have more freedom thinking that they were being restrained to hardly.

However being the second son that is something that would never happen. Jason had to compete with his older brother Axle, Axle had started training from a young age and was regarded as a strong Assassin even while he attended the academy, because of this Jason's dad focused more on making Axle a good successor and left Jason to himself. Jason decided to train on his own so that he could prove to his dad that he really was strong.

Things changed when his brother graduated though. As soon as he became an official Assassin Axle gathered a group of followers from the Ward as well as multiple Assassins and successfully took down his father by force decided that the methods of the Ward were outdated and as thus made restrictions on Assassins even more strict by assigning Assassins to serve until told otherwise and even keep control over retired Assassins.

Axle then threw Jason and his father out on the streets making them start from zero because of this Jason's father entered a big depression causing a flame of hatred and vengeance to be lit inside of Jason. With that goal in mind Jason focused all of his time in training and becoming stronger so that he could one day beat his brother and take his seat as one of the 8 heads of the Ward.

Sexuality: Straight, a bit of a playboy actually.

Appearance: Jay has long golden colored blond hair that runs down his head and down to his neck with some freckles of hair covering the sides of his cheeks. This tends to give him a sort of feminine look and causes some people to think that he's a tomboyish girl instead at times. He has a pair of green colored eyes which he usually keeps covered with the pair of red goggles that he wears over his head along with a red headband. Jay wears a simple white colored t-shirt with a cross like pendant around his neck. He wears a pair of baggy red jeans with multiple pockets and has an athletic built.

Personality: Jay is very laid-back and uncaring usually deciding to do things depending on how he sees them fit without giving much thought to it. He does have a bit of a short temper though especially if people mistake him for a girl. He's also a bit of a fighting maniac saying that he only feels alive when he's able to relieve his stress on someone else and stretch his boundaries as thus he also has a really violent side to him when he's on a fight and won't give up until he sees his opponent on the ground.

Talent: Jay has great stamina and speed allowing him to move pass his opponents with great ease he also has a lot of brute strength

Fighting Style: Jay uses a mixture of hand to hand combat with weapons since he has a katana that he usually keeps slung over his neck along with a pair of knives inside of his pockets.

History: Jay grew up with his mother who had to work in many odd jobs so that she could support them. He was abandoned by his father when he was little and due to his mother missing her left arm as well as the state in which they live Jay was teased a lot and school. This is when his violent side first developed as he would usually beat up on the bullies that teased him and eventually grew to be fond of fighting. Jay kept living with his mother until he turned sixteen years old, at this time he decided that he would become an Assassin so as to get enough money to pay back for all the debts his mother had.

Name: Kaijin Shiina

Appearance: Kaiji is a very androgynous-looking boy with blonde hair and oceanic blue eyes. Constantly wearing things to conceal his face, his attire changes constantly to avoid detection. He is of somewhat average height, being around 5'6".

Personality: Kaiji is normally shown to be a very reserved person when dealing with others, rarely surprised by anything. As a result of his training as a child, he has no visible sense of morality; being capable of killing without so much as flinching. However, he is shown to have an extremely kind; almost motherly side to him, having adept cooking skills and doting on those he considers friends.

Talent: Kaiji has an encyclopedic knowledge on many things. His I.Q has been stated to exceed 190; being capable of memorizing the smallest of detail down to the letter. This, however, also leaves him vexed with simple solutions to problems. As a result of harsh training as a child alongside studying, he has gained an extremely adept amount of martial art and acrobatic skill; having mastered over 10 types of martial art. He still plans to learn more.

Fighting Style: Kaiji is very adept with his hands; though he chooses to use his own weapons. His most potent is a powerful katana named Raijin; a blade of purely black meteorite steel. He also carries around various knives, one of which is laced with poison he'd received from his master. Raijin is also in his presence, being wrapped in a cloth.

Goals: Kaiji wishes for nothing more than to find his lost memories.

History: As a result of a childhood accident, Kaiji's memories had been wiped clean from his mind. After the accident, left unknown by the passage of time, he was adopted by a woman by the name of Fuuji; a master of all martial arts. Training the young boy, Kaiji grew to be a strong young man under her tutelage. One day she left, leaving the boy with nothing but a letter to remember her by. Going off to train alone, Kaiji came to a blacksmith who'd forged his blade. He still hadn't remembered his memories or ever calling Fuuji his mother.

Appearance: He dresses in black robes most of the time unless he is blending into society for a mission. Then he often wears casual clothing that is trending at the moment. He has black ebony hair that is cut into a buzz cut and his pale skin makes him seem to glow in the sunlight. He however imposes an aura of intelligent self confidence by the proud way he stands and the studious flare in his murky green eyes.

Personality: He is rather cold hearted but he has soft spots for children and women. He is very intelligent is very knowledgeable of several subjects such as alchemy, psychology, music, and biology. He is constantly on a hunt to learn more not only book wise but also wisdom. If one is in his favor he has a rather good sense of humor, kindness and loyalty, and respect. If one is unbeknownst of him he treats them with kindness but doesn't really bother with them unless they seem to stand out from the rest. If one is on his bad side or is an assassination target he is cold and cruel. He will do anything to achieve his vengeance and vigilantly and violently plot out the person's demise.

Talent: He is a skilled alchemist and very knowledgeable of the human body. He uses this knowledge to kill targets without them ever knowing they were poisoned till they are on the floor and foaming at the mouth. Also a skilled pickpocket.

Fighting Style: He often has elaborate plans that he carries out to the letter when it comes to fighting. However, if he is caught off guard with a plan he uses a poisoned dagger or a Glock silenced pistol that he carries at his side at all times. He uses guerrilla tactics of hit and run and focuses mainly on dodging attacks than rather delivering his own.

Goals: Anarchy. If he can stir up chaos, it is most likely he will do it. He sees most of the governments as crooked and evil thus, in his eyes they have to die.

History: He was born in a normal family but there was an uncle that tried to take sexual advances of him. And thus after the first incident he plotted and planned and killed his uncle. He liked it so he killed some more. Eventually he drew enough attention that he attracted the assassin organization and he has since then been fulfilling tricky contracts to make a spare buck. With the money he earned he used it on his education and became very smart. Now that he is growing older, he is finally old enough to be inducted in the Academy. However, he has been killing for years to make money. It is just that he hasn't been "officially" inducted as an assassin.

Actually he should be around 18 or less other than that you're good.

Personality: She's teasing, cynical, a bit of a snarker, and blunt. Not your usual kind of girl, that's for certain. She's also a bit temperamental, making her somewhat easy to tick off, though usually is not healthy for one's health. She also has a sadistic streak, but usually appears when she's teasing people to no end or when she's literally breaking an opponent.


Talent: She is capable of handling any weapon with ease (except for guns and their inner workings, which is her weak point), as well as having great free-running techniques, as well as knowledge on where to break the human body in very painful places.


Fighting Style: Tessa has a little bit of everything in her fighting style, having learned some boxing, muay thai, karate, the Long Fist, some Iron Monkey, and even Drunken Boxing... all blended into a lethal blend of street fighting.


Goals: To become the best Assassin and become the Great Leader of the organization.


History: Tessa was born into a family who was half normal Muggles, the other half Assassins, a good deal of them on the "Crippled" list one way or another. She and some cousins would often get challenged by their Assassin-orientated parents to do challenges, secretly training them without being so open.

When she was a tyke, a Rouge Assassin barged into Tessa's house and killed her father, but was shortly killed by her Assassin mother, Carlotta, after he noticed a cowering Tessa. She then told her bloody family history, and forced the girl to double her training in order for her to be strong and not let any one take anything from her again.
