"Nah, I'm fine with it," Val said, moving over slightly to make room for the boy. She knew that making friends would be essential to her success, so why not start now? "But yeah, I bet there will be fights pretty frequently here. People tend to fight each other when they're learning about how to fight each other," Val chuckled.

"I'm Val, by the way," she said as she looked at the boy.

"Yeah but if only they wouldn't have to fight so much maybe things would be different," Jason stated as he overheard Val and turned around. "Oh sorry for overhearing your conversation."

"Short and to the case I like that," Jay grinned as he avoided the hit and moved back; swinging his right leg forward so that it was aimed at Edmond. "But you'll need more than that."

"Good reflexes." Edmond commented as he hit the floor, dodging the kick and launching with a sweeping kick as he rolled on the ground.

His hands quickly maneuvered the ground as he performed his floor kick.

Tessa sighed as she walked in, bored out of her skull. "This is the Academy? I thought it was a more lively place." She said with a droning voice.

Jay gritted his teeth as he was thrown onto the ground by the sweep. He was able to stand up quickly though and backflipped on the floor. He then lunged at Edmond and threw a left cross at his ribs.

"I think it's more complicated than that," Jason said towards Tessa.

The cross hit Edmond's ribs and there was a loud crack, but Edmond merely gritted his teeth and did a backflip. Landing on the ground, he threw off his dark robes which revealed a dark tight shirt and black baggy jeans.

He spun upon his head with his legs kicking in a human tornado.

Jay groaned as the kicks hit him in various spots causing him to step back before he outstretched his arms and grabbed a hold of Edmond's leg...

"What the hell is going on here?" the students moved aside almost instantly as a man with long messy black colored hair walked over to them, he was wearing a pair of square shaped glasses along with a formal aqua blue shirt a tie and a pair of beige jeans.

"We're ju...OW" Jay yelled as he and Edmond where both thrown onto the ground in the blink of an eye.

"Fighting in school grounds is against the rules if you're going to fight do it in the battle arenas that we've specifically set up for this," the teacher frowned before he took out and lit a cigarette.

Edmond hit the ground with force and groaned in pain as the teacher lectured him.

Getting up and putting back on his black robes, he outstretched a hand to Jay and complimented

"Good fight, we'll have to finish it one day."

"Yeah but hopefully not like this," Jay laughed as he stretched his hand and shook Edmond's. "I'm Jay by the way."

"Eizen. Eizen is this one's name." Eizen says, nodding. Then a young man who looked like his name was Jason interrupted. Eizen was slightly annoyed, but decided it would be best to turn the other cheek. Or at least try to, as best he could.
"That doesn't make much sense, does it? A school for assassins, who by definition kill people, is going to attract violent people. People who don't fight become mailmen or clowns or any number of nicer jobs that do not involve murder."

"Name is Edmond." He suddenly clutched his broken ribs but soon got over the pain.

"And nice to meet you Eizen." Edmond said as he slid to the floor.

"Edmond?" Eizen says, fishing around in his backpack.

"Yeah, Edmond." he grunted as he pulled long bandages from his backpack.

He wrapped the bandages around his ribs and soon the pain dissipated.

Tessa, on instinct, took out a hidden knife, turned and spun around with the intent to kill. Only to stop millimeters from penetrating the neck. "Jesus, don't scare me like that." She panted out, hiding the knife back on her person.

Seeing the crowd around her increase, Val climbed off of the ledge and sighed.

"I'll see you around, Eiz," Val said with a slight wave. "I'm gonna go check out the school," Val coolly lied as she walked off to another, less crowded spot. She watched with interest the fight between Tessa and the boy who had overheard her conversation with Eizen.

"An almost murder before we even started classes. This sounds like my kind of place," Val thought to herself with a smile.
