Thread: The Alchemists (Start-Up)

"Yes and no." The man said, throwing a knife through the head of a ghoul as he opened the door.

"Vlad Dracul of Walachia was a human occultist who gained power by sacrificing thousands of people to his patron, Mammon. After he died, he returned as a true demon. The novel Dracula is heavily based off of Vlad's exploits, and the name simply stuck."

"Sounds like a rather reasonable deal I spose. So how does this include me and you exactly? How exactly do ya plan on taking out one of the most notorious demons of all time single handedly? I mean, that was your original intention wasn't it?" Kevin said as he merely kicked away the corpse of the ghoul.

Jarek followed Kevin and the vampire slayer, sword at the ready. "I imagine that it wont be the easiest thing ever."

"Do you even understand particle physics? Leaving a black hole open could tare the fabric of space time. I have to close them." Norbert grumbled pointing to the unsettled group of particles trying to correct themselves in the absence of the black hole.

"So, Vlad's no longer a vampire, but a demon? This may be a bit more difficult than I had anticipated." Lysander babbled on, walking ahead of the group.

"Sounds like fun, Lysander. I love a challenge." Jarek said excitedly as he watched the rear of the group

"Most vampires are demons, although some occultists have mostly the same powers. But yeah. Anyway, the-" He was cut short by a red branch protruding from his chest. The woman from below had been hiding in a hallway, and was running away.

"SHIT! you son of a bitch! Im going to spread your entrails all over this blasted castle when im done with you!" Jarek screamed when he saw the branch protruding from his freinds chest, and proceded to chase her, fueled by pure, primal, murderous rage.

"That's unfortunate." Kevin said in a melencholy tone as he pushed aside the corpse of the vampire slayer.

"But I told you that it wasn't going to be my responsibility when ya got yourself killed."

Kevin merely sighed as he walked by Bell and began pursuing the women with Jarek.

"Reserve some of that anger for the actual battle will you? I doubt she is going to be nearly as easy as the beast before."

Tending to the corpse was less important than making sure the woman didn't make more. It was a cold decision to leave Bell for dead but he merely hoped that while they chased the women the healer boy got to Bell.

The woman turned around, red branches extending from her arms, slashing at Jarek with the network of red wire.

OOC: I'm a little lost right now, have guys entered the castle now?

"You can't out run my bullets!" Senri shouted as he shot several flaming rounds from both guns at the woman.

OOC: We are in the castle and a women killed this guy we met.

Kevin saw the opportunity and intercepted the attack meant for Jarek.

He reflected the branch attack back at the lady, the branches suddenly went the opposite direction towards its source with equal original velocity and force.

It gave him a small headache and a small gash appeared on his arm.

OOC: OK

Graecia felt she had been walking for an eternity. The dim light didn't make her feel any better. The voices had completely stopped, but whether that was a good thing or not was beyond her. "I really hope someone else is in this place... Preferable someone that knows where and what this place is." She said to her self "And if I'm lucky there won't be any demons around to get in the way."

"Fuck!" The woman said. She was going to block the bullets, but Kevin's attack moved her arm out of the way. She was shot in the forearm. Blood oozed from the wound, and clotted almost instantly as she ran off, nearly running into Graecia.
"Nobody move or the girl gets it!" She said.
