Jarek walked slowly,sadly up to Seren. "I am so sorry they were your family,I take it." Jarek gestured to give her a hug.

The next day, at a coffee shop where the team had arranged to meet up...

"This is nice." Hugo said, eating a scone.

"Please go. You creep me out." David said.

Shizuka wawalked up to Hugo and David, and sat down uninvited. "Hi Guys!" She said, whilst sipping on a Latte.

Treiss sat quietly with a book, with some coffee and a doughnut in front of here. "Hey." She said without glancing up.

"Are...Are you guys wizards?" Hugo asked. "I've been wondering, 'cause, see, that Senri guy, he had that gun and was going to kill me but he like made it appear and I saw him shoot a fireball and" Hugo babbled. He clearly had no intention of stopping.

Jarek walked in and sat down,with a coffee,listening to hugo babble on,brfore finally losing his patience and saying "Can we please get on with what were here for,preferable before this man gives me a seriously bad headache?"

Shizuka chuckled. "Well, I suppose some may consider us Witches and Wizards, although each of us can only use a single element."

Lysander sat at the table, sipping a cup of coffee. "Wizards?" he chuckled.

"Some would call it that." Treiss had yet to look up from her book.

OOC: how do we dertermine our new power anyways?

"Yes,we're wizards,of a sort. I would like to think that we're a bit better than wizards,though." Jarek said irritably.

Seren, late, as always, strolled into the cafe casually. Frowning to herself, she headed towards the counter and ordered a buttered scone and a cup of tea. Her usual style had changed today, switching to a black overcoat, black trousers, and a black jumper. Melancholy was written on her face as she turned to sit with the others, carrying her plate with her.

"Welcome, Seren. Cool new outfit. How are you feeling?" Jarek as she sat down.

Seren carefully pushed her plate in front of her and sighed, cold air escaping from her mouth.

"I'm fine, I'm fine," She lied. "what's done is done. And thanks, though I'd say my other outfit was cooler ... Wait. Bad pun." She laughed slightly and took a bite out of the scone. "How is everyone?"

"I am well,other than the fact that Hugo is starting to give me a headache." Jarek said, while staring at Seren with a knowing look in his eyes. "I do want to get to know you guys better though."
