The Knight is gifted with a natural proficiency for horsecraft, and uses this to his advantage in battle. Their weapon of choice is a lance, although heavy armour is unwise on a horse, and such the Knight must wear lighter armour, and trust on his horse's speed to win the day.
The Ranger is a long-distance fighter, focusing on using a gift of keen sight and quick reflexes to pick off enemies from afar.
Their weapons of choice are bows, crossbows and the like, prefering lighter armour to improve their agility.
