"Uh, I believe that--Ow!" Lily clutched her arm, where she had been injected. "I think I'm partially Chansey. How did this happen?"

"You were injected with pokemon DNA," Alexander replied.

Annah ran back into the lab. "Sandy, we're lucky that this was a success." she said.

Meanwhile, Kiera saw the Chansey Merge, as she'd started to call their new selves. "Uh, hi there, Lily...." she said. Leon then stepped into the area. "Heh, all of them are still in their cells." he said. Lucky for me I'm not under Maxwell's stupid team. I hate caretaking. he thought.

Anthony chuckled. "My dear friend, that doesn't begin to make sense. The DNA would be swept away by the bloodstream before affecting any cell's genome."

OOC: KO, have one of your characters explain it because I have absolutely no idea how that works.

Lindsey nodded in hopeful agreement with the Klingklang merge.

"We discovered a way to prevent such a thing from happening to where the pokemon DNA combines with your human DNA creating what we call merges. Think of it like a virus taking over your cells and mutating them into something new." Assail said turning towards Anthony.

Kiera felt pain in her upper-left point. "Darn it, if I still had- wait, Marci! Your arm..... we're Merged."

"GRAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Mikio roared with anger as he ran to the cell bars and reached his arms as far as they could go through the bars, desperately attempting to grab one of the Caretakers.

"No, really?" Lindsey said sarcastically. "I thought we were all just sitting around in cells for no reason."

Opal stared at her father in horror. He worked for them? He did this to them? To her. Her parents were the only ones that ever made her smile, well the only non-electrical things. Now she would never let him see another emotion from her again.

Lindsey sighed at all the horrified reactions. There's nothing we can do now...
Laura remained on the floor, still unconscious. Thankfully, she was breathing. Alexander watched her expectantly, but she wasn't waking up.

Lily sighed. "So, what happens to us now?"

"We continue studying and experimenting on you." Assail glanced at Opal not seeing any reaction before walking off.

Knight glared at the mans back as he left before sighing. Now what were they supposed to do?

"Oh..." Lindsey said, more terrified than ever before in her life, but not showing it.
Laura remained unconscious. Alexander considered waking her, but decided it would be better to observe and see when she did it on her own.

(OOC: Oops, forgot she had Insomnia ability. well, she's actually unconscious, so it doesn't count.)

"That sounds rather uncomfortable, and I'm already slightly off-ease with this as is. Can I please ask that we be let out?"
