Thread: Split Ends: Start-Up

Psy-I took it with gratitude. "Thank you again." She entered the store.

Emily headed into the Pokémon Center.

The rest of [AM] were already in there, sitting at a table by the door.

Psy-I was awestruck by the sheer amount of products in the store. She simply stood right in the door for a minute, letting it all sink in. Then, she skipped to the clothing section.

[XM] entered one by one. When Scorpion came in, she said, "Uh, should anyone go make sure that Psy-eyes, or whatever the name is, isn't causing any trouble in the store or anything?"
Clarissa was looking around the Center. She'd been to places like this before. They healed pokemon. But now I'm also a pokemon... Would they make me better if I got hurt?

OOC: I am not motivated. We will wrap this thing up soon.

OOC: Damn it! Though I guess it's at least partially my fault.

Don't count on it, a voice sounded that only Clarissa could hear sighed in reply.

"No, she doesn't seem to be hurting anyone," Emily responded.

OOC: I made the mistake of Aramis telling everyone that the Project is not over. I require mindwiping. Xelda57, we need a convenient accident with Psy-R.

Helen reappeared, whisking away all of [AM] in the building except F-II.

OOC: Actually, a mindwipe isn't entirely necessary. But if that's the way you want to do it, that's fine, and I'm hardly one to argue anyway. I just thought I'd best bring that up since mindwipes are getting sort of commonplace.

"What was that for?" Ozias inquired, only slightly rhetorically.

OOC: But I'm bad at convenient accidents! I can't be creative when creativity is needed most. WatchRead my fail.
If you want to change that because of what PolkJolt said, I'll change it.

"H-huh?" Was that... myself? Clarissa wondered, not understanding telepathy.

Psy-R abruptly stood and began walking towards the door, saying, "I must be sure that my sister is alright." However, as she walked, she didn't realize as her shadow-human form melted away automatically simply because she wasn't accustomed to keeping it and certainly wasn't thinking about it. Obviously, it drew the attention of just about all of the humans in the room.

OOC: Since when?

I have my reasons.

OOC: Since when is a mindwipe not required, you mean?

What if they convinced themselves Aramis was wrong?

No. That was me. Telepathy, thought swapping. I'll explain it some time.

"But-- You just...! Poofed them all out of here! Where are they?"

OOC: How would they do that, though? They'd need some sort of motivation to convince themselves, and with pretty strong evidence, too.

Swapping... thoughts? Where are you? Who are you?

OOC: They want it to end desperately, seeing as it poses such a huge threat to them. And the evidence? Lack of activity, abandoned major facilities due to new, better hidden bases, this and that. What say you?

They are wherever they wanted to be.

"They're...? Wha...? Hang on." There. That's better. What the hell do you mean? They wanted to be somewhere, specifically? Or anywhere favored by them over here?
