"What did you say to her?" Kuroi asked.
"More importantly, are you dying?"
"No, just sorta... stings a bit."
"Well, let me know if your heart stops, 'kay?" [PJ-M] continued down the path.

"Erase the memories of the sages," Rina suggested. "We haven't passed by them, so I'd imagine they would be a bit suspicious of us."

"That should be simple enough, old men like them."

"Yeah, I guess. Go for it."

Afterwards:
The group exited the gate, finally arriving in Ecruteak City.

"Okay, we can't move out of the city tonight. We won't get anywhere and it's too risky to be in the middle of nowhere at night now. We'll have to find some hospitality here, somewhere public. Pokémon Center?"
