Thread: Split Ends: Start-Up

Ozias accidentally stumbled upon the two as he was on the search for a certain human. "Ah. Hello. This is a new person. Hi. Mallory, uh... Who is this...? Any idea?"

Ozias, you moron! He's in the control room with us, obviously.

"Are you kidding me!? There's more!?" Lilith shouted. Her mind had suddenly flashed back to something her father mentioned on their last confrontation, "Some merges will be used to work with the hunters to capture more subjects and to take back escaped ones like yourself"

She glared at the merges remembering this,

"You work for the Project, don't you?"

I know that! Obviously!

"...I did. Those days are over and I'm glad about it. Are you okay? You seem... angry. Worried, even."

"I-I'm not worried!" Lilith stuttered. Mallory began to fade away again. The Zoroark merge stood her ground,

"For all I know, you could be lying just to get me back!"

"You're absolutely right. But I'm not. I'm telling you the truth. You have my word, should you choose to take it. If that doesn't convince you, I can show you my memories. I'm telepathic."

Rina sighed. "Okay, whoever can fly needs to get out of here, now. Y'know, through that hole in the roof. Those that can't... Well, I'll figure something out."

"Yea- no. There's still possibilities of you giving me false memories, so for now..." She disappeared in her illusions and an illusionary substitute appeared behind Ozias, "I will NOT trust you!" The real Lilith appeared less that a meter away from Ozias and attempted to slash him with a Shadow Claw.

Ozias blocked it with his sword. "We all need to leave here. Now. If you value the next 60 seconds of your life, then you'll have to trust me, Miss Ernestine, or else you'll be dead in 59."

"The Hell!? Are you threatening me!?"

Aramis snapped his fingers, and Sandy ceased movement. "There. Now, do me a favor and run as if your lives depend on i-- Wait a second..."

"No. I'm warning you about the psychopath who seems to have just gained the ability to kill anything alive in a fraction of a second."

OOC: Lilith isn't anywhere near Project HQ, last time I checked.

OOC: Yeah, she's kinda been wandering the region in search of her dad whom she kinda wants to kill...

OOC: Mallory found her, and she's in Project HQ. I'm confused, shall we ignore the last bit of IC I just wrote? Also, I need to sleep, it's almost 7am here.
