"Well, yeah. I think it might be to do with me being human. As for these, well, maybe it would be a better idea for you to look at them yourself," she handed the box to Scorpion.
OOC: I have no idea what's on these boxes...
The Scorpion Queen took the box and looked it over. "Um..."
OOC: Just the Genesis logo, pill name, directions, and an image of the pill, along with the tagline "The Fat Just Walks Away", but no ingredients or anything like that.
"3:05 am, every night, without fail, the burglar alarm goes off," Roger explained, "I've had experts, the manufacturer, everybody, but they all say it's perfectly fine."
"...Roger, do you have a catflap?" John asked.
"Yes, but it was there when I bought the house. I'm not a cat person."
"No, I've met a cat person, and you're nothing like her," John frowned, briefly thinking about Sarai.
"They're wonderful, really!" Stacey exclaimed, "I've lost a pound in a day, just from one pill!"
"Have you had any..." Emily struggled to find the word, "Adverse side effects?"
"No, nothing. Oh... I'll be right back. I need to go to the toilet." And with that, she left the room.
"That's odd. A consumable product without any ingredients listed. Hmm..." she turned the bottle around in her hands. "It's some sort of weight-loss pill. One of those things for people who don't want to exercise, probably."
"Well, yeah, but... I was thinking the same thing about there not being a list of ingredients. Should we just ignore it?"
John looked at the catflap. "The thing about catflaps is that they don't just let things in, they let things out too."
"Like what?" Roger asked, frowning.
"'The Fat Just Walks Away'..." John muttered.
Stacey stood in the bathroom, beginning to feel nauseous. Her stomach began to rumble. No... it wasn't rumbling. It was... moving. A spherical shape was seemingly forcing itself out. And with a pop, an Egg came right out of her stomach, landing in the sink. "Wh... What the...?"
OOC: And so it begins. The exciting bit, anyway.
"Yeah, I suppose so. I don't want to get into some argument about legal stuff."

Emily was fiddling with the pendant in the sitting room, twisting the capsule. What she didn't know, was that this was causing the Egg upstairs to start to hatch. Stacey was watching it do so, a little baby Treecko popping out. Except it wasn't. It almost was, but it was almost human as well. It just waved at her, gurgling. "EMILY!!" Stacey screamed. Emily rushed up to the bathroom, banging on the door.
"It's locked!" she cried, Stacey running over to open it. By the time Emily got into the room, there was a little Treecko baby waving to her from the windowsill, who then climbed out of the open window. "Oh my god..."
Foster stared at the signal on the screen. She switched it to the CCTV tapes from the morning. "The only way for one of the Eggs to have already hatched would be manual interference from one of the capsules. The only capsules that can do this are on the desks of our employees. So one of these people," her eyes darted between the visitors in the call centre room, "is a thief." She pointed at the screen. "Found her. She is in so much trouble now. In the meantime, send out a collection squad for the child."
The Treecko baby toddled ponderously through the street, right in front of the pharmacy window. It locked eyes with an alarmed Kris and waved with a warm smile and a coo. And then a van pulled up to it with the Genesis Industries logo on it, and the driver picked it up and shut it in a black box, and shoved it into the back of the van before driving away.
"Okay, we aren't leaving this alone!" Kris cried.
The Scorpion Queen, shocked, asked, "Uh... um... um... We're never going to catch up to that thing in shadow-human form... and if we changed to merge form, they'd probably come pick us up like they did with th- oh."

"I'll do it, if you want. Unless we all are?" She began to think about all the unpleasant things that could happen before the truck arrived, like people shooting at her. I really shouldn't think about that... ugh...
"Like what?" Scorpion asked impatiently. "Whatever it is, we have to be quick."
"Yeah, but what about that baby?! They could be doing horrible things to him..."
