OOC: I think the title in itself is a major reference to this RP... Best decide on a new one.

How about we just continue with this RP, but move to a new set of Merges for a while?

Four subjects were placed in a specialized, airtight room. Injection had been supplanted by gaseous mutagens, so extra precautions were required to protect the scientists.
The subjects were exposed to the chamber, and the Merge initiated. However, the change was more gradual, allowing for a decrease in pain.

Kris awoke with a start. "H-huh? What the... Where am I? Where are we? What the hell is going on here?!" She sighed. "For atets's sake... Atets's? Ots? Ots the... Otsaz am enem... Ots the heck...?"

"Huh..?" A puddle, or possibly a pile of slime next to Kris gurgled as if it were alive. "Who's there!? Why can't I see anything?"

"Agh! Ots... ots are you?"
