Clever? Lilith said in her mind, I just attacked everything I saw.
"Well, yes, but they still had to be clever."
"Blasting everything in sight's sorta clever too..."
"Now, those of you who stick together are tasked with protecting Psy-I and its siblings. If the Project were to get a hold of them, then--wait, I forgot to mention that we have another Global Genetic Alteration System. Well, we do. However, it, like the one you all destroyed, requires the three in order to target every human simultaneously... You get what I'm saying, right?"
"Yes," sighed Kuroi.
A Registeel-Azelf Merge burst out of one of the capsules. "That is ridiculous. We were sent all the way here for nothing. This goal was ambivalent."
Lilith eyes suddenly opened wide, "Wait... you're saying that they had a device to turn every human into a merge, and now they have ANOTHER ONE!? It's times like these that make me feel like a total idiot."
"There isn't really anything to feel stupid about, it's not like it's your fault."
"There we go," Foster smiled as the baby Merge finished mutating, "Do you know how the Merges came into being? They were once humans, then taken and remade. That process... is now perfected. Isn't that right, my perfect general?" The new Golurk Merge looked up at the scientist.
"That is correct," it responded in an inhuman tone, a voice of a machine, but an intelligent one, an emotional one, "We are superior to humanity. To their beasts. To the other Merges. We are the new masters of all life!" This earned a chant from the millions upon trillions of others behind it.
"THE SENIKO ARE THE MASTERS OF ALL LIFE! THE SENIKO ARE THE MASTERS OF ALL LIFE!"
Foster looked upon her master race and smiled, triumphant.
OOC: You wanted me to do something with the kids, Arcturus, and I'd been planning this. I just needed to sort everything out.
"I know it wasn't my fault, it's just that I've been seeking revenge instead of trying to stop a major catastrophe from happening. I was too scared to confront the project since I escaped..."
"That would have been to heavy a burden for one person anyway. Be glad you didn't confront them and die. Most of us are."
OOC: I would have appreciated knowing this beforehand. I can't have you running your own agenda without my consent.
"Confront? Why would you confront the Project?" Psy-I's expression didn't change, but it was obvious that she was confused.
OOC: I thought I PMed you telling you about making a big army. And then you posted that, which caused me to remember that I got halfway through. I don't remember what got in my way.
"Because they're morally ambiguous," Emily frowned.
"No. The Project was right in their quest to give you insects worth."
OOC: In any case, I've got a climax and end planned for the RP, all inspired by a single song. Wot.
OOC: Which song? I wanna hear it.
OOC: Bulletproof Heart by My Chemical Romance.
The third capsule opened up, revealing a Uxie-Regirock merge who said, "Why are these merges not in their cells? Psy-I, Psy-S, what is going on? Have they turned you against the project?!"
"No. The Project has apparently turned on us." Psy-I glanced at Aramis. "What is the Project going to do now?"
"I'd expect that they'd hand the top position to the highest-ranking member. According to memory, that would be a man by the name of Atlas. From what I know about him, the Project's new goal is... Less than pleasant."
