"Really?" Aramis frowned. "No, not really." Aramis flicked a switch on the back of the table, and the whir of the giant machine ceased. "Can we talk first?"
"So long as we actually talk and nobody gets blasted, I'm good," Ozias replied.
"If we must," sighed Sophia.
"There we go! Just wanted to make sure it was possible." He flipped the switch again. "Okay, that's 10 seconds to stop this thing."
OOC: Permission to do something that could potentially supply comic relief?
OOC: No permission. Access denied.
OOC: Yup. And that makes it easy enough to turn it back on again. Which is why it's funny.
OOC: Access denied. I need the machine to short out or get destroyed while it's active.
OOC: Ah, I see. Okay then.
"Good for us." He drew his sword. "I have this overwhelming urge to make something explode."
"I'm in," Kuroi shrugged, Sophia nodding too.
"Why not?" Zero muttered.
Aramis started humming.
Nix pointed to the ceiling. "It's up there, unlike a PokeStar Studios movie's budget."
"Right then." Ozias unleashed a torrent of water from his feet, Fire Punching through the ceiling, and used Secret Sword.
"Wait for us, why don't you!" Kuroi began to use Fusion Bolt. The other two hitched a ride on her and began to attack the machine with all their might.
Mallory used Hex on the machine, hoping that it wouldn't fail as it did with the Metagross merge
Rina fired a Thunder at the ceiling. "That should be sufficient, all. No need to damage it any more."
The machine exploded, and an orb of green light fell from it, phasing through the floor, and the next, until it hit a living organism down below.
"...That can't be good," the Wheatleys observed almost simultaneously.
Mallory had immediately passed through the floor following the orb to see whom it had hit.
"Who is it? Can you see?"
