"It's not too hard, but... It requires a scientist to teach you. The process is triggered differently depending on what you're Merged with."
"Uh... okay, but... who would teach the rest of us? I thought they were all evil. ...Mostly. I think."
"We stole their files." Rina suggested. "They need to record information on their experiments. That's one of the fundamental parts of science. Hypothesis, data, conclusion, more data, gotta love that data... All of that. I bet that they took diagnostics on us, scanned us, took your blood--seeing as Mia and I have none--and read the bits of genetic code they could decipher... They have a goal in this. So, anyways," Rina motioned towards the lab, "We'll have to sneak back in. No, scratch that, I'll have to sneak back in. I won't be noticed, and I have an idea as to where the files are. You all just sit tight. Any problems?"
"Uh... no problems, I guess. Be careful." I hope she doesn't take her hidden-ness for granted.
"I 'heard' that, just so you know." Rina sank into the ground, seemingly vanishing.
"It's not like I can control what I think," The Scorpion Queen grumbled, annoyed and unnerved. Yay, mind reading, she thought sarcastically, not particularly towards Rina.
I can still detect your thoughts.
Whatever... There was nothing she could do about it anyway. Have you found the files?
I've been gone for all of five seconds. Do you really think that I've found the files?
Oh... tell me when you do, then. Scorpion tilted her head back as far as it would go and stared slightly backwards at the sky, feeling bored.
OOC: Ceiling? We have to be outside.
Look, it may take a while.
OOC: Yep, fixed it. Sorry.
Okay, Scorpion thought in a mental 'shrug' tone. I'm just an impatient person. Sorry.
Ow, I just ran into a file cabinet. Wait, aha! Found them! Rina paused. But how am I going to bring them back? Damn, I completely forgot about that.
...Slide them along the floor. Hopefully, nobody will notice that some files are moving across the ground.
And if someone steps on them, or worse, notices, then I'm screwed. No, thank you. Perhaps I could read them off right now?
