Thank you! I'm just kinda paranoid sometimes haha.
Thank you! I'm just kinda paranoid sometimes haha.
Things are going to be a bit confusing at first... Ehehehe...
I'm still procrastinating...

As soon as we have the tags ready things should calm down. Also as a second point you know have the option of making your RP into one thread rather than splitting it into sign up and start up.
Hi there. I don't know if anyone will be responding tonight, but is it just me, or are the RP forums slower than usual? =/
Also, how is everyone?

Actually, at least in my opinion, they started moving a bit faster lately, there's more RPs coming out.
Been wanting to join some more RPs lately, but it's kinda hard to gauge how successful each one will be. I don't feel like typing up an exorbitantly long SU if the RP is just gonna flop after 10 pages.
I don't much like normal, old Pokémon RPs.
Lessee...Of the sign-ups we have out now...Flaze, Kamen, and my own RP would probably be your best bet, although Kamen has been a bit hit-and-miss. Flaze's RPs are virtually guaranteed to last at least 100 pages or so most of the time. Garashria shows promise as well. Any academy RP is going to last a while, too.
Not changing my signature 'till TWEWY 2 comes out.
Hey! Kid! Yeah, you! You like Dragon Ball Z?
Hell yeah ya do!

Tell Kyuukei I sent you so I can whore myself out for points!
Your RP... I've been in something a bit like it for a while, now, so no. Kamen's looks kinda confusing, and I don't do Pokémon RPs unless there's some huge twist. I've got the games for that purpose. :I

Garashia sounds like a cool RP, I'm thinking about joining it myself xD and I helped Kamen with his RP so I can recommend that one, though you have to give it a chance.
My RP is a Pokemon one but it's not actually set up to be a long ongoing RP but rather I wanted to try and make multiple short RPs that all link to one idea. Also there is a twist xD
Also if there's something I've learned is that you can't just judge things, I mean if you want to see if an RP is going to be good then just join it and forget about the semantics.
You're probably right...
That reminds me, I still have that draft to finish up.
Well, anyway, it's good to be back. Not to mention, with the mindset to write. ;P I missed this part of the forum.
Hey everyone
I'm trying to get an RP off the ground called Vampire Requiem, and it's a sorta of a Vampire/Horror RP that would thrive with a lot of players. I'm kinda desperate for sign ups given that I only 2 sign ups and 2 reservations, so if you're interested in giving this a try, here's a link!
Vampire Requiem Link
Anyway, I'm glad to be back in the RP saddle!
Hows everyone doing?
I'm still procrastinating. It's been nearly three months since I started typing the draft up... Gah.
But I'm kinda excited to be joining RPs again. It's been what seems like an eternity since, erm, I've joined an RP.
Know what? I'm gonna start from scratch! Thinkthinkthink...

I was thinking and at first I thought we should have another rp subforum that's private, you have to prove your worth to get in and keep proving your worth, meaning not suddenly disappearing from an rp, but that would mean tons of rejection and a minute pool of role players so not as much variety. So then I though of an easier and better solution is for we as role players must raise our own standards and become better role players along with GMs raising their own standards, don't feel the need to accept everyone, if someone doesn't provide a good sign up or if you don't feel they will contribute to the plot, it's okay to deny them. Too many times have I been part of or seen a role play with fantastic potential fall due to the amount of inexperienced role players who lack the ability to move a story on, write good posts, follow the rules, or don't post often enough. We the community have to raise our standards, thereby raising the quality of our role plays. On a side note, I'd love to see some more of those awesome non-pokemon role plays, they are fantastic and I myself find it to be a great opportunity to make a more original plot and story.
Thanks,

My approach to acting is that I am totally intuitive. I read the script and I get it. If I don't get it, I can't do it.

There just isn't enough demand at the moment and people can't gain experience if there are no RPs there that are different or that stick around.
I want to do something simple with a Journey one but since I have control hopefully it would go a lot better, baby steps I suppose.
