Thread: Pokemon: Kanto Chronicles

ooc: no problem :D hope it all goes well :)

"Niice!" Mila grinned pressed the button on her own pokeball, and in a flash of light, eevee jumped out

"Eee... eevee!"

OOC: Phantom, would you like me to play Brock, or would you like to write out you're own battle like I did?

OOC: I'd like to battle Brock on my own so I'll write my own gym battle.

"Ooh! Me NEXT! Me NEXT!!!" Mark happily exclaimed!

He grabbed Mike and sped off to the battle arena. He took a deep breath and wore his black finger-less gloves.

"OK! Get ready Brock!!! Caesar, I require your assistance!" Mark roared and at once Caesar jumped out of his Pokeball, ready for battle.

Alice took a seat in the stands as Sakura, the Budew, Leapt up into her lap.

Before Signs could get up to challenge Brock, someone else stepped up. Signs sighed sitting down. "Congrats on winning your battle," he said to Alice as she came back.

"Thank you." Alice replied to replied to Signs, with a bored expression on her face. "I do wish you luck in you're battle." She sighed.

ooc: could you write brock for me please Nights? :)

"Eevee's a cool Pokemon to have because you get so many options for evolution." Jake commented.

"That's true... the trouble being I have no idea WHICH option to go for!" Mila mused and giggled as her eevee walked over to the pikachu and stuck a paw out in greeting

"Chu!" the electric-type chirped. (Hello?)

Jake nodded in agreement. "Now I just need a nickname for Pikachu."

"Eev!" (Hello! who might you be?") She jumped up and down happily

"Hmm... I forgot about that..." Mila mused and looked down at her eevee

"Well they seem to be getting on well"

"Pika..." (Now that you mention it, I don't have a name yet...)

"How does Zane sound?" Jake asked. The Pikachu looked up at his trainer and gave a satisfied cry.

“OK then, let’s go Onix!” Brock exclaimed. Out came the Rock Snake Pokemon, ready to battle.

“Prepare to meet your end! Caesar, Use LOW KICK now!” Mark commanded.

The Pig Monkey Pokemon kicked the Onix as hard as it could. The Onix fell down but quickly regained its composure.

“You’re a bit cocky aren’t you? Onix use Screech!” Brock said.

Caesar quickly covered his ears after hearing the screech. The Onix quickly used Bind on Caesar and squeezed him as hard as he could.

“Caesar, Karate Chop now and free yourself!” Mark angrily shouted. The Karate Chop proved unsuccessful however as Caesar was still bound by Onix.

“You think you can escape? Onix, Iron Tail!” At once, Caesar was hit by an Iron Tail. Still unable to free himself, the foe Onix used Stone Edge to put an end to the battle. Caesar however, strong and resilient, took the hit and activated his ability Anger Point and entered in a Frenzy State. Caesar then used Karate Chop once again at Onix, which finally set him free. They both clashed with Caesar using Low Kick and Onix using Iron Tail. Both fainted in the middle of the battlefield after the clashing.

“You did a good job Caesar. You ultimately deserve that rest!” Mark tearfully said.

“You too Onix” Brock said.

For the match-deciding battle, Brock let out his Roggenrola while Mark let out Mike.

“This is going to be easy, Mike use Metal Claw at full power!” Mark shouted.

Mike charged at the Roggenrola and successfully hit the Mantle Pokemon. When the dust cleared, Mark was shocked to see Brock’s Roggenrola using Iron Defense and its ability Sturdy activated.

Brock grinned, “Use Rock Slide!”

“Oh sh—Mike dodge now!” But it was too late, Mike got hit by the Rock Slide and was in the brink of fainting.

“OK Roggenrola, finish it off with Stone Edge.” Brock happily said. As the Roggenrola charged towards Mike, Mark grinned, “NOW!” In a flash, Mike dodged Stone Edge and countered with Metal Claw. The Roggenrola rolled around for a while before fainting.

“Good job Roggenrola.” Brock said as he returned the Mantle Pokemon, “and as a reward for defeating me in this gym battle, you shall receive the Boulder Badge!”
Mark happily accepted the Badge. He placed it on his Badge Case and returned his fingerless gloves in his jacket. He left the gym and went back to the Pokemon Center to heal his Pokemon.

“OK, who’s next?” Brock asked.

"Heh, think that Zane's pretty awesome!" Mila chimed in then looked at her eevee....

"How does Aurora sound for you?"

Deandre heard brock and immediately took the oppurtunity for a challange. "Me!" Deandre exclaimed "I would like to battle next!"
