Thread: Pokemon: Kanto Chronicles

"Right," Signs agreed walking forward, his partner in his arms.

OOC: Midori, do you want to just do a timeskip through Viridian Forest or get detailed through that.

OOC: Timeskip. I already got a caterpie so no reason to drag on.

"Just Eevee..." Jake said, the disappointment in his voice clear. "There's no other Pokemon left?" His heart sank as he realized that the day he'd been waiting for since he was a child would not be happening in his favor.

OOC: Didn't Phantom R get eevee

OOC: I think Windsaver has Pikachu.

OOC: I forgot about Pikachu.

IC: "Here you go." the professor said. "The last Pokemon I have to offer, Pikachu."

Jake sighed out of relief and his expression immediately changed. He eagerly took the Pokeball. "Thanks, professor!" he replied.

OOC: I gotta go to bed now, sorry, but I go back to school tomorrow, and I wake up around 5:30 am. So yeah.... Night all.

Mila thanked the professor, before heading out the laboratory and taking in a deep breath before turning to her new pokemon and saying=

"Well looks like its just you and me...." she paused before adding "how do you like the name aurora?" the little pokemon jumped up and down in response so she laughed and replied "Well aurora let's go to route 1, who knows perhaps we shall see those two from earlier?"

OOC: Sorry for the very late posts. Obviously some of us are in different time zones and I have school so...yeah.

After a few hours, Mark left the Pokemon Center and went to Route 22 to train Mike. He fought a Rattata and Nidoran until a new challenger came out. It was a Mankey. The Mankey firmly placed his feet on the ground, just inches away from Mike and waited for him to attack.

"OK Mike, use EMBER!" Mark shouted.

At once, Mark's Charmander obeyed the command, spitting out a small flame to the Mankey. Though the Mankey was hit, it countered with a Low Kick. Mike tripped and fell to the ground. He quickly went back on its feet, ready to fight.

"Mike, use EMBER full power!"

Mike gathered all his strength then used Ember on the foe Mankey. It assumed a defensive stance and successfully survived the attack albeit already weakened. Mark then threw an empty Pokeball. Mark crossed his fingers, hoping that he could catch it. He knew that the first gym was fond of rock type and he needed something to counter it. The Mankey he found was just perfect. After three turns, the Pokeball clicked signaling that he had captured the Mankey. Mark quickly rushed to the Pokemon Center to heal it. He eventually named it Caesar. As soon as Caesar had healed, Mark headed at once to Viridian Forest to train Mike against the weak-to-fire Bug Pokemon so that he could eventually learn Metal Claw and train Caesar against weak Bug type Pokemon like Metapod and Kakuna which usually has Harden as its only move.

Alice made her way through the Viridian Forest, and into Pewter City. After a few hours of looking, she found the Pokemon Center, and entered to have her Pokemon healed.

Signs walked with Alice doing the same. "Are you challenging the gym here?" he asked her while waiting for their pokemon to heal.

"Why, yes." Alice replied as Marx and her new Budew Sakura started to get aquainted.

OOC: Gym battle information, you have your're choice of writing out You're own battle, or having me play the Gym Leader. If you wan't to write you're own, I'll give the the Gym Leader's team and their movesets. (I decided to switch up the Kanto Gym Leader's teams.)

"Then we should head over there and battle the gym leader. What do you say?"
