Thread: Pokemon: Kanto Chronicles

OOC: We'll probably skip the contests because none of the character's wanted to participate in them.

IC: Alice noticed Signs, and had a sudden thought. "Hello, I remember you from Prof Oak's Lab. If you'd please, i request a battle." Alice asked Signs.

"Huh? Uh okay I guess. One on one?" he asked in reply.

"That will do." Alice replied. "Marx, go!" Alice called to her faithful ghost Pokemon.

"A ghost type. Well then only one move will work. Bubble!" Signs called out as Squirt released a spray of bubbles at the ghastly

"Evade with Double Team." Alice ordered, Marx then created illusionary copies of himself. Each copy was hit, but the real Marx was nowhere to be seen.

"Squirt be on your guard," Signs commanded, both watching for the ghastly.

"Lick." Alice ordered. Marx then appeared behind Squirtle and attempted to lick him.

"Bubble!" Squirt turned around getting hit by lick but quickly recovering firing bubbles from his mouth again.

Marx was hit directly by Bubble, and he took some damage. "Marx, Nightshade." Marx then shot a black energy at Squirt.

The young squirtle managed to get out of the way of the move before firing off another bubble attack at his ghost type opponent.

"Double Team then Haze." Alice ordered. Marx then dodged by creating Illusionary copies, before they created a thick black Haze over the battlefield, making it very hard to see.

With their sight gone Signs had to figure out a way to get out the disadvantage. "Go into your shell and just use bubble." Squirt went into his shell releasing the bubbles from it. "Try to spin while doing it!" he called out. Squirt did just that by flipping onto his back and occasionally sticking his tail out to spin causing him to be a spinning tornado of bubbles that started absorbing the haze around them creating a bubbly haze tornado with him at the center.

Marx was at the top of the tornado, getting bombarded by bubbles. Unable to take it, Marx fell to the ground fainted. Alice, already pulling a revive out of her bag, walked up to her Pokemon and gave it to him, so he recovered a little. "You did very well Marx." Alice said. She then turned to Signs. "You're strength has earned my respect. If you are heading to Pewter City, may request that i accompany you?"

"Sure. It's probably better to travel together rather than alone. You and Marx did really well by the way."

"Squirtle squirt," Squirt agreed with his trainer.

"Thank you, you Squirtle did very well to." Alice said in her usual monotone voice. "We best be on our way now." She suggested, as he black pigtails blue a little in the breeze.
