Thread: The Occultists (Start-Up)

Lequan's eyes widened. "Bingo..." He lunged the fireball towards the creature,putting his weight into the swing,and making himself fall face first.

The monster was hit, sending it reeling, and lighting it up. It's upper body looked vaguely like that of a person. However, much of the skin was made of what looked like metal, and what wasn't was gnarled and raw, like partially cooked meat. It's fingers started as flesh, then twisted into long, sharp blades, and it's head was eyeless, with a huge, metal mouth full of sharp blades for teeth. It's lower body, on the other hand, was very long, at least ten feet, and covered in yellow chitin, with too many legs to count. It let out a scream, revealing a long, forked tongue, then turned and scurried off again.

"Holy F*ck...." Lequan struggled to get up,still a bit shaken by the sight of the creature. "I should be glad....that I managed to scare it away. I'm exhausted..."

"That's it! I'm tired of this thing!"

As soon as Ame said that, the monster came rushing at them from behind, cleaving at anyone in it's way with it's claws.

Kyoko had her guard down, and the monster attacked. She managed to move out of the way, but not in time as the beast sliced her left hand and two of her tails up pretty badly. "MOTHERFUCKER!" She yelled.

Tye dropped from above, his boots making contact with the beast's head as it charged. He had his "demon-powered" pistols ready as he unleashed rounds down into it's head. However, his balance was horrible as he landed on the thing's head.

The beast's head was grazed by a pair of bullets, and in pain, it slid into the wall. As it recovered, it turned towards the party and screeched. A dozen long, black tentacles fanned out from it's back, and grabbed at Lequan, trying to throw him at Ame, as the monster charged again, cleaving at Tye.

Ame ducked Lequan and charged at the monster with her claws. "Yeash! Won't you ever die?!"

Lequan slammed into the wall hard from being thrown. He layed on the ground unconscious as a bit of blood trickled down his forhead.

The monster's claws rebounded off of Ame's, so it tried to bite her, lunging for her neck.

Kyoko staggered, rapidly loosing blood and power, and shot a weak fireball at the monster to grab it's attention.
"H-hey! Loser!" She shouted at the Monster, as she almost fell to her knees. "Easy... kill... Target over... here..." She cried, her voice becoming weaker and weaker.

Kyoko collapsed on the ground, barely concious. She chuckled under her breath, and sighed, "Well, this may be it..."

OOC- Is this RP dead?

OOC: Not if I have anything to say about it, thank you very much.

The monster turned to Kyoko, and though also using blood, it lunged at her, raking gashes in the ground as it swung wildly at her.

Still unconscious on the ground,Lequan's body twitched.


"Is this all you have to show? Your companions falling before you,and you can't even stand. Yet again you've proven to me how worthless you actually are. It seems I must lend a bit more of my power to you. NOW STAND AND FIGHT!" Cerberus shouted.

Just like back at the museum,the air around him began to intensify drastically,later setting him ablaze. "No,your right. I may not be invincible,my abilities may not even compete with my friends,and I may be a worthless lump of flesh to you,but no matter how big,how small,or weak. You'd be suprised as to how far determination will take someone." Lequan used his right hand,and got up,ignoring the pain. Eyeing down the creature as a large ball of flame formed in his hand.

OOC: I'm just gonna assume your dude threw it, since, y'know, the thingy's gonna omnomnom on Kyoko.

The creature turned just in time to get hit by the fireball. It was sent flying into the wall, and having reached it's limit, it let out a death rattle, then slumped to the floor.

"Is...Is it dead?" Seamus asked, coming out from around the corner.
