Aaron goes out into the city to look for a meal and a place to sleep for the night.
"How could you treat those people like that? " asked Psyche.
"What do you mean? It seems fairly obvious. I opened my mouth and talked. "
"That's not what I mean! You need to learn to be more compassionate. "
"Shut up and help me, witch. "
She grudgingly agreed and looked around for food.
The next day, the group was at the mansion again. The same butler before served tea. Mr. Dashe was turning the rod from the labyrinth over and over in his hands. He then rested it on the table.
"So...How did it go?"
"Well,it turned from everything going smoothly to everyone fighting for they're lives. In summary,some of us would be dead right now,but I guess you'd say it comes with the job." Lequan turned away briefly,and rubbed his head.
"Oh,you mean that maze-thing I met you by?" Cassidy asked.
"Yes..."Lequan replied.
"Oh, right, Izzy told me that you guys were pretty chewed up." Dashe said. He pushed the sunglasses up the bridge of his nose and turned to Cassidy. He opened his mouth.
"Who's the slut?" Miyamoto asked before Mr. Dashe could say anything.
Lequan snorted. "It's a long story okay? Just...shut up fur ball." He began to mumble.
"Slut is such a mean word,after all it's not like I had a choice of being an empusa or not. I'm Cassidy, me and Lequan here are best buddies now." She tugged on his arm. "Oh,I also hunt demons on occasion."
Lequan simply ignored as Cassy tugged on his arm. "Eugh...."
Kyoko looked at Cassidy, in confusion. Then, in a smug voice, she smirked "You like Lequan, don't you?"
Ame sighed. "Still, you shouldn't just break into people's homes! That could get you into serious trouble!" To say she was surprised that morning was putting it lightly.
"Okay now that's pushing it." Lequan said to Kyoko.
"Oh don't be silly. I don't like-like him. He's just the first human friend I ever had that didn't fall victim to my charms,and his stomach is so soft.." Cassidy began to poke Lequan's stomach.
Lequan face-palmed in embarrassment. It was bad enough that a demon of lust was following him around. "So..do we have another assignment?"
Kyoko giggled, and smirked "If this was an anime, you two would have SOOOO MANY SHIPPERS!"
"If this were an anime everyone would have been shipped with everyone else. Some of those shippers are crazy you know." Ame pointed out.
Seamus' face was bright red. He took off his jacket and threw it at Cassidy.
"For god's sake, put on some clothes!" Mr. Dashe simply sipped some tea.
"Honestly, such behavior in front of the master is-" The butler said.
"Quiet, this is better than TV." Dash said, raising a hand.
"I'm never going to hear the end of this am I? Well f*ck it,I don't give a shit. Keep the embarrassment coming...it's bad enough she follows me around." he mumbled.
Cassidy rested her chest atop his head. "Aww,don't be such a killjoy..." She said while messing with Lequan's cheeks.
At this point Lequan was just trying his best not to go on a rampage from the harassment. He kept a straight face,and ignored. "I knew God hated me,but I didn't think this much."
"If I were you, I'd have some choice words with the fates."
"Oh,and I suppose that beat-up old story book called my life could get any worse." Lequan shrugged.
"Well, what did you expect, Lequan? God is an asshole. To quote South Park, sometimes God takes those closest to us, because it makes him feel better about himself. He is a very vengeful God. He's all pissed off about something we did thousands of years ago. He just can't get over it, so he doesn't care who he takes. Children, puppies, it don't matter to him, so long as it makes us sad. Do you understand?" Shrugged Kyoko.
