Thread: Machotia Academy

Leon walked calmly through the crowd and to class.

Eric Saw a crowd collecting and asked a staff member about dorms.
"Name?"
"Eric Gregory."
"Infernape red. follow the others. But now is your first class."
Eric nodded and joined the crowd of kids that seemed to be similar in age to him.

OOC: There are no classes, just meeting other students.

Michael saw a rather flustered looking boy who was in his house.

"Hi, I'm Michael. What's your name?" he asked.

Desh, as usual, Arrived late to the academy. "well, better late than never" he mumbled. His Growlith gave a small grumble and they walked into the academy. "ummmmm, hello?" he called out not seeing anyone.

OCC: arrived late, whats going on?

OOC: We're in the main classroom block, meeting eachother

Desh wandered around until he found a large group of people.

Eric turned to see a boy who was apparently in house. He said, A little out of breath,
"i'm Eric, nice to meet you. Are you a trainer? or..?"

"Yeah, I'm a trainer. I've been doing a little work with my Blaziken back at home," Michael replied. He was excited about starting lessons.

Desh joined the crowed with his gowlith at his heels. He looked for a nice spot around the edge to sit with his growlith and wait to figure out what to do next.

"Ooh, a blaziken? I prefer water types myself. I brought my lapras." Eric looked around. "So, could you tell me about this place, i was kind of surprised by my enrollment."

"The Academy was founded a couple of hundred years ago, at the same time as the Elegentia Academy across the way. Apparently it was to separate boys and girls, because of increasing conflict. There are four houses, who take students depending on their battling style," Michael explained to Eric.

DeShone listened to two boys talking about the Academy. When they mentioned the houses, he listened closely, because he was also curios about the houses.

"Infernape red... sounds like a good place for me." Eric Looked around. "What are we doing here? is something going on?"

Michael was about to answer when a noise ripped through the air. It was an explosion. He turned around to see black smoke rising from beyond the rows of houses.

"That's coming from Infernape Red, isn't it?" he muttered. Panic started to stirr through the crowd until a voice boomed across the courtyard.

"Keep calm, everybody." Michael turned around to see a man standing on the wooden stage that had been errected. "There's nothing we can do here, and panic is the worst thing to happen. Everybody just find somewhere to stand or sit until we know what's happened," the man said.

"Who's that guy?" Michael asked a boy next to him.

"That's Dr Lomen, the Headmaster," he replied.

Desh was startled by the sudden excitement. His growlith pressed in against his leg.
