Growlithe clung to the Reniculus. "Growlithe! Use Crunch!" This attack should finnish it.

Just because you're alive doesn't mean your living. Just because your lasting, doesn't mean your winning. Just because you're... ok, you get my point. You need to fight for it. Nothing is ever free or easy, but if you want it, it's not yours till you've fought for it.
Growlithe bit down on the Reniculus and the Pokémon collapsed, fainted. The crowd cheered, Desh had won, with such a disadvantage. Alice cried out in joy, and restrained herself from rushing onto the battlefield. She couldn't believe that anyone could have beaten that Reniculus.
Eric smiled at desh's victory. He knew that this would happen, and he was already itching for another battle.
Kitty saw the expression on Eric's face and had to giggle.

"Yes!"
Desh sighed deeply. "come on Growlithe, we're done" Growlithe bounded over joyously over its victory. Desh smiled, rubbed gorwlithe between the ears and they walked off the field.

Alice rushed to where Desh was.
"Well done!" she cried. "I think that Reniculus was the hardest opponent yet!"
Desh smiled. "thanks, trick room was a pain to deal with". Growlithe staggered off to find a place to take another well deserved nap.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the next match-up is Michael Dunrose vs Ned McBride!" The announcer boomed across the stadium. Alice heard it.
"Hey, let's go and watch the next match," she said to Desh, before taking his hand and walking back into the stadium.

Michael heard the announcement. He was battling someone, from his own house. He'd better not screw up. He walked onto the battlefield. Opposite him a huge trainer stood, with huge, muscly arms. Christ, that's my opponent. He shivered at the thought of actually fighting this guy.
"Go Blaziken!" he shouted, throwing the Poké Ball of his partner in the air.
OOC: Anyone want to ref?
((I suppose I could.))
"Wow, the Growlithe really beat the Reuniclus." Sayuri whispered. "Such brilliant Trainers here. But then, brilliance is needed when you're the underdog."

Desh allowed Alice to tow him back to the stadium. Growlithe was off out of view sleeping of the fight. As of right now he didn't know who was up next, but he would find out when the field came into view.

Eric Looked at Kitty. "This should be good. this is the guy I first met here."
Kitty smiled. "I guess it will be, then."
