I giggled despite myself. "Your hair's all messed-up now." I patted it back into place.

"No, usually it looks like you at-least know what a comb is."

I swatted him on the arm. "You're dumb."

"Meh. Not everyone's gifted with humor." I told her, "Ya know Ellie every time we do something we end up getting separated and then something bad happens. Wanna find something to do together where we'll actually be together?"
"Sure." I tilted my head to the side as I thought. And then a thought occurred to me that made me want to blush and laugh at the same time. Slowly, I felt a gentle smile cross my face. Then, shyly, I leaned forward and lightly touched my lips to his just briefly before pulling-away in embarrassment.
((It had to happen sometime, to quote you.))

In this moment I was happy. I forgot about my worries, but that only meant they went to the back of my mind. For now atleast I here, alive, and with the girl I loved.
I smiled nervously and lightly squeezed his hand.

"Well I'll have Zariant bring my food home, and then we can find something to do." I said.
I called over the waitress to get a box for my food. When she returned with it I gave the box to Zariant who warped it and himself home.
"Considering all our attractions are on one street it shouldn't be hard to find something." I said pointing down the boulevard.
Well, right at the moment, I was content to just look. Everything seemed so quaint and homey, and I just wanted to see it. "What is that?" I asked (that seems to be my favorite phrase today), pointing to the window of a nearby shop. I didn't recognize what the things in the window were.
((You can pick what it is))

"That's the Pickering's shop. They make their own native american crafts. Their ancestry traces back to this area really far back so they try to carry on the traditions. To be honest I couldn't name half the things they make, but it always is interesting stuff." I explained walking over and opening the door for Ellie.
I smiled at him as I went in. Then the first thing I saw was this gigantic -almost the size of me- wooden tribal mask with red and blue streaks on the cheeks and huge, flat yellow eyes. I yelped in surprise, stumbling backwards and almost falling into Jericho.
"Oh my gosh!" A voice exclaimed from behind the mask, "I didn't mean to scare you!"
A redheaded boy about Jericho's age emerged from behind the mask. "I'm so sorry, I- Jericho?"
