"Somehow, I don't think Maya and Callia would cry if you dumped me." I said softly. That was actually a big insecurity for me. Both of them had known him longer and had more history with him. It made me worry.

"I miss Maya like any friend would, but I've moved on, and if you think I give a damn about Calia then you're the insane one."

"But...I saw how they look at you. Even you don't want them, they want you. After you put yourself in a coma, Callia taunted me about you."

"And she's a raving lunatic who only cares about power. She's obsessive about it. There's a reason she's the Reaper Witch.

I sighed. "I'm being weired, aren't I?"

"Ellie. We're half human half gods. I can teleport through shadows, you can create mini stars, and I ride a giant demon dog. Wierd is normal for us."

I giggled. "Guess you're right."

I yawned since I was actually tired.

"You take the couch. I'll have the floor."

I went upstairs and grab a few blankets from one of the closets. I picked the floor because I wasn't willing to sleep in my own room. Honestly the place still felt like it did when I was a little kid.

I fell-asleep almost immediately.

Des[ite my bed being carpeting I got to sleep rather fast myself.

"Mother? Mother, I'm home."

"You're early."

"Something happened in the showers after gym today, Mother."

"You're forbidden to shower with the other girls."

"I know, but- Mother I started bleeding. And the other girls stared and laughed and threw things at me. And Ms. Gardner came-in, and she slapped me. And they got me cleaned-up, and.....Mother? Mother, why are you staring at me like that? Mother, you're scaring me."

"Get on your knees and pray."

I did, and Mother started preaching.

"And God made Eve from Adam's rib, and Eve was weak."

"Mother-"

"And Eve was weak."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"And Eve was weak."

"She loosed the Raven on the world, its name was Sin."

The rest of the dream was basically the memory of my mother screaming at me at me and shoving me in my closet.

I woke-up with a frightened little cry.

I rolled over, and muttered something about brimstone. Unlike Ellie i tended to get pulled into the dreams not wake up from them.

I was home. Back when it was really home. I was also about three feet shorter. I was seven maybe. Most of my height had come in my tweens after all. I was sitting around in the back yard with Zariant who was still a little pup. I looked around to see my mother in the kitchen window. Everything felt real. Eeriely real. If I was seven then... hades was still here. I jumped to my feet, and dream zariant jumped up too. I ran inside, and my mother looked at me funny. I tried not to look at her. This was a dream, and I didn't want to confuse it with reality. I went upstairs to my parents room and there Hades was in the form he kept when with my mother and me. He was a handsome young man. Then again gods tended to make themselves look near perfect. Hades was standing around looking out the front window.

"I swear do you ever sleep anymore Jericho?"

"...I don't remember this conversation." I muttered.

"You shouldn't we're having it right now."

"I'd be surprised if I hadn't been dealing with this stuff since I was five."

"Well you're seven and a half right now so. I'll make this short."

"So just gonna jump to why you've turned?"

"No, because I haven't. There is much more to this than you think. The crux of your issue is that you only see the darkness when the truth has hidden in the light. You'll see as soon as you finally look for someone to blame other than yourself.... I really hate trying to say this indirectly. Ya know what forget it Zues, you're about to be overthrown, so you can thank your big brother later. That Hades you've been dealing with for years has been an imposter put in place by the Fated. I'm stuck somewhere deep in my own palace, and for my sake don't do anything stupid now. That imposter is still an immortal, and his dominion spans the entire earth as well as the underworld now. I'm sorry what he's put you through, but I can't help you from here. The imposter intends to tear open the underworld, and send the infernal souls free. Now wake up before you're girlfriend worries. Even if you don't sleep much you still mutter every other word."

As everything faded all I could think was that was fucking wierd. my eyes open, and I just looked around. I had been surprised. For once in my life being a demigod surprised me.

I was just about to reach-out and touch him when he woke-up. "You talk in your sleep. Are you alright?"

"So I've been told..."

I kept looking around as though there was something around here. Something out of place.

"Jer, what's wrong?"
