Thread: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era

Zen leapt at Shimo before throwing a barrage of fists at her. At the same time Dracky turned its attention towards the fight and began charging at Shimo, its fangs bared.

"Shimo watch out!" Klay yelled.

"You, bastard." Lili gritted her teeth; she was too weak though and as thus wasn't able to do anything as she was slowly burnt away.

"Well they do say butterflies burn nicely." came Kevin's voice as he walked towards Jack.

Jakku leapt through the air at Zen.
I am Jakku Ebansu. You assaulted my sister. Prepare to die.
He flew through the air, claws outstretched.

Shimo leapt backward from Dracky.
Bad Dracky! BAD!
She punched the dragon on the nose casually.

"Another one!" Zen gritted his teeth and held his left arm forward, his skin had become hard enough to block Jakku's attack without having him suffer. "You guys are fucking annoying!" he yelled before swinging his left leg at Jakku.

Dracky roared once more before firing a jet of flames. "I didn't think you would actually hurt him though." Klay pointed out.

Jack didn't hear a word. He was in another world, this being the world of deep meditation. He needed a few minutes to recharge.

After five minutes or so he opened his eyes. "Into the breach I presume." He mused.

Brine had now turned his attention to the Dragon Klay was fighting. Brine made a spear out of PSI energy before sliding under the Dragons legs and stabbing up at the dragon's stomach.

I am a Bounty Hunter. It is my job to be irritating to the likes of you.
Jakku said, catching the kick, but sliding backwards.

Shimo coated herself in a gentle flow of Life Energy.
She was able to deflect the flames from herself.
No! Bad Dracky!

Tye stood, waiting for the mantis to make a move. "You first, I insist" He smirked as he stood waiting at the ready.

"Well they do seem to be making a lot of noise down there actually." Kevin noted. "Maybe we should help them out."

The black dragon moved out of the way before slamming its tail downwards witha mighty roar so as to try and hit Brine.

Zen chargd at him once more with great speed. He spun around on the ground with his feet so that he was now standing behind Jakku before quickly going for a right hook.

And oddly enough, Dracky actually seemed intimidated by Shimo's scream, he was still under Zen's control but it was as if he had reacted a little.

"It would be a warrior's mistake to let his opponent go first." Edge pointed out without any emotion in his voice.

Shimo boredly stepped forward, and rapped Dracky on the head with her fist.
Now come on.
And I'll give you a treat.

Jakku leapt forward into a roll, then turned to face Zen.
Give up. We have you outnumbered and gunned.

Dracm began hesitating a bit more, this time taking more steps back. "I think it's working" Klay raised an eyebrow.

'"Like I'll lose that easily!" Zen screamed at the top of his lungs before charging forward, his elbow facing forward as he tried to rammed onto Jakku.

Brine morphed the spear into a tall broadsword and put it on his chest with the blade up before letting the tail fall on him

"Then in we go." Jack grinned as he leaped into the abyss.

Jakku leant backward, his foot flinging upward to catch the attack.
I didn't expect you to give up.
He revealed his other palm, containing a glowing energy ball of Life Energy.
He threw it at his foe.

Zen saw the blast and was as thus unable to dodge. He was hit by the blast head on and was slammed back because of the power fo it, causing him to roll around on the floor due to the force of the strike.

The dragon hissed in pain its tail flailina round as it tried to shake the pain off. "Don't kill it, the dragon didn't have anything to do with this it's being controlled." Klay said as he turned to look at Brine.

"Then let's do it." Kevin nodded his head before he jumped inside along with Jack. The two of them landed on the bottom of the floor and were treated to the sight of all the corpses and wounded soldiers lying around as well as Aria trying to left herself up from the floor while clutching her right arm.

"I know" said Brine over the sound of the dragon. At the height of the dragon's tail swing the sword dissipated and Brine was launched onto the dragon's back. Brine's hand started to glow a purplish color as he put it on the dragon's head, trying to soothe the angry beast and counteract Zen's control. "Come on, please work" whispered Brine to himself while soothing him with one hand and petting his head with the other, giving him a kiss on the head.
