Thread: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era

"A little bit." Klay nodded his heard before listening to the communicator. "We're trapped in a cave Shimo, we got tied with Void Chains."

...Hang on.
Shimo uncorked a grenade, and tossed it nearby.
Hear anything?
She asked into the communicator's mic.

"I hear you." Klay shrugged. "Why?"

Because unlike Jakku, I don't have you wired with freakin' tracers!
Shimo growled.

Jakku rolled his eyes.
"We do not have long, Shimo."
He urged.

"Shimo." Klay muttered for a sec before closing his eyes. "We may not be able to use our skill but you should be able to sense us if you go future." he noted. "Unless you can do it in your child form as well."

Shimo's eyes widened.
Your auras!
She facepalmed, and sat down.
Grumbling under her breath, she shut her eyes.
...Awh crap, you're like, half a mile away...
She groaned.
Can I borrow the car?
The sound of a door slamming echoed through Klay's communicator.

Jakku looked confused.
"...I have not taught her to drive."

"I never said I didn't. But his phone number could come in handy." Eric said. "Besides, it's useful to have information on a mission. It's not very smart to just charge in blindly."

Klay looked down at the floor for a moment before sighing. "I guess we'll be going back on foot then." he pointed out dryly before turning to Jakku. "But at least we'll get the chains off."

"Yeah that is ture." Layla nodded her head. "But I was lazy." she beamed before seeing the doors open. A man stood in front of the group, he had long black colored hair that went down to his shoulder and and red eyes was wearing a white dress shirt with the neck raised along with a black colored cape, he didn't seem to be too happy though; in fact he seemed to have just gotten out of bed.

"I don't want cookies." he pointed out dryly. "They give me rashes."

"We're not here for cookies." Tink shook his head at the vampire. He wasn't actually amazed by him, he felt pity for the guy actually since he seemed to be all in a mess. "We're hunters from the Slayers and we came here on a request."

"Oh." the vamptire nodded his head before stepping aside. "Please come in." he siad before looking inside. "Well maybe not, the house's in a bit of a mess right now."

"Wait, if she can't drive... what are the chances of her crashing and dying and then us never getting out of here?" said Brine, a little scared.

"Shimo's resistant." Klay nodded his head. "Frankly I'm more worried about the poor car."

"Let me know if you need to rest, wake me up if so, don't worry, I don't bite when I am awoken" Stephanie replied giving a wink to Kevin before she decided to close her eyes and get some rest.

"So...Shall we just stand out here then?" Eric asked. "We...Weren't given much information. What's up?"

"Oh right it's still cold I'm sorry." the vampire apologized before opening the door for them.

Once Layla and Tink walked in they noticed that the apartment really was in a mess, there were brokens portraits and walls as well as staircases all around and there seemed to be a leak. "Okay?" Layla pointed out.

"Yeah I...kinda got dumped a couple of days ago." the vamptire said before sniffing a bit. "It's always the fangs."

"I think I'll be fine." Kevin smirked.

The next morning Sakura got up from where she had been sleeping and walked out of the cave. She gasped in disbelief as she saw the bodies of multiple bugmen lying all around the exit of the cave along with Kevin who had had his chef suit thorn up in multiple areas and was wiping some blood from his mouth. "I think that was the last one." he pointed out before turning to look at Sakura. "Morning." he beamed.

"What?" Sakura asked. She couldn't believe that Kevin would've been able to knock all those down, he always seemed like the type of guy that wasn't that good in a fight.

Stephanie started to wake up as well and took a few moments to notice her surroundings before she got up and came outside to see the mess of bodies lying around. "Wow, when you said you would be fine, you really meant you would be fine" Stephanie replied looking impressed.

"Well I am serious about what I say." Kevin laughed. "But it was nothing I mean I did what anyone else would do."

"Kevin might seem innocent but he's really fearsome." Aria muttered in a way that Kevin wouldn't hear her. "He used to be part of another Guild the Guild was disbanded after it was caught in a fight against Rogues, most of the members were injured badly enough that theyc ouldn't keep being hunters." she then looked at Kevin attentively. "Except for him."
