Thread: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era

(OOC: And thus, everything comes into fruition...)

Serah's eyes widened as she pushed herself away, the light enveloping her.

"What's... going on?" her voice became many octaves lighter, the girl suddenly feeling dizzy. "What... happened to me?" the girl's body shrunk, and she could only look down at herself. Her bust had receded, and her body had become... lighter.

Why was this... wait a minute. Was this... age regression? No...

Looking to Mira, the girl's large wide eyes peered over. "You... what type of shit is this!?"

The red haired boy stood up from the floor and looked at Eric with a drowsy expression on his face as he ruffled the back of his hair. "So, we should start our fight shouldn't we." he said with a bored expression before assuming a running stance.

The man saw Evan's attack and stood in front of it, letting the attack surround his arms as he jumped away. He bounced off from the wall and landed behind Evan before spreading his arms, which were now completely free from the straight jacket that he had been wearing before. "Now I can move a little better." he grinned.

At that moment Sakura came up from behind her, a sickle on her right hand before slashed down at his back. However, while she had thought that she would be able to actually hurt her, all she did was cut the bandages that went down from his head to his back. The bandages began to flutter as they slowly came off and fell to the floor, revealing the man long blond coloured hair, his pale white skin and a single eye, they in turn had a green black iris with a green pupil. "What?" Sakura gasped as she felt a large presence envelopment, almost as if her body was being clenched as if pressure was being put on every fibre of her being. Before she could do anything she leapt back desperately and collided with the wall due to the excess force of the jump.

Damien gritted his teeth as he moved a little, though this caused the sword to pierce through his left hand, making him grit his teeth slightly as he pulled back and grabbed onto two chains. "So, I'll just have to seal your sword as well."

Then I'm here to stay.
Future!Shimo grinned.
It's not a summoning seal.
It's a teleport.
She leapt forward again, swinging her katana.

Brine flew back against the wall and slid to the floor. He put his hand against the back of his head and pulled it away, his fingertips were bright red. "That can't be good," said Brine. Brine stayed sitting for a bit. "Played it a little close to the heart there didn't you?" asked Brine before bringing his hands together and quickly pulling them apart, causing the lance to expand to twice it's original diameter.

Jeremy stood his ground matching the swords slash for slash though the force slowly slid him backwards bit by bit. Jeremy jumped back from the flurry of blows and landed a good four feet away. Jeremy did a spin quick, a slash of wind flying at the girl, fast and thin enough to pierce human skin. Jeremy followed it with another kick of wind, this one about four feet by four feet, large and powerful enough to knock a grown man of his feet.

"I told you didn't it." Mira grinned and raised her hand before putting it close to her wounds, this in turn caused the wounds to vanish and leave them as they were before they were affected. "I can rewind the time of any object or person that I touch." she snickered and held her hands out. "I could've turned you into a little baby but that wouldn't be fun, especially since a traitor like you deserves a slow painful death."

Damien side stepped before lashing out with his hands, sending the chains flying at Shimo as they glowed with dark energy and started to change directions and surrounding her.

Mark and Tye were still inside of the room with the platforms, the abyss and multiple platforms surrounding them as their opponent appeared from a platform nearby. Their opponent was a girl with short blue coloured hair that barely reached her neck, she was wearing the Corps Guard uniform and had a pair of green eyes. On her hands she was holding a pair of daggers.

"You're quick on your feet though aren't you." Clear smiled brightly as he looked at Brine then turned to Jakku and stepped back. "You're both fine warriors, that much is for sure but." once he said this multiple copies of him began appearing around the room all of them surrounding him. "How refined are you really."

Kanda pulled her arms back, causing ash to surrounded her body and form a wall that allowed her to block the wind blasts. She started to jump on the wall before jumping out of the wall as a large golden coloured blade formed behind her and fired at Jeremy. However, before the blade reached him it began to glow and divided itself into smaller golden coloured swords.

'OK OK lets make this quick. I got plans tonight' Mark said a bit of a 'brooklyn' accent coming through.

He still had his sicklewings in hand, and was equipping them mantis style.

"My name is Tina." she stated as she held the daggers foward. "Just so you know."

'Name's aren't really so important to me, and they won't be for you after I'm finished.' Mark taunted.

He backed up a few steps then threw a couple sicklewing with considerable backspin on them make each circle around Tina. it was pretty much a probe see what the girl could offer in this fight.

Jakku stood in the middle of the room.
"Refined enough to know now is not my time to die."
His eyes glowed yellow.
"One more chance to run."
He said softly.

Future!Shimo rolled in a cartwheel, leaping past a chain.
She glanced around the chains as they surrounded her.
Go ahead.
I have a sword, you have a chain.
See what happens.

Tye sighed briefly, "Mark, I don't think we should just be diving into this" He called after his comrade. Fine, then let's do this... Tye's arms ignited with scarlet energy as it flowed up his right arm, he reached back, drawing his hook blades. As his fingers came in contact with the blades, the energy flowed from his arm onto the two blades.

Tina didn't do anything though, instead opting to jump to the platform behind her as she stared at Mark.

"Interesting." Clear smiled before grinning deviously. "Bring it on." he snickered.

"You can't cut chains though." Damian snickered as she charged forward with the chains. He began spinning them around before throwing them back at Shimo. However, while they were flying at her, they began to split into parts each one of them flying at Shimo individually.

The sicklewings followed still circling around her, but closer now. now he was actually dipping into his powers, but it was nothing to keep them going as they were meant to fly.

'Come on stop stalling.' Mark grumbled.

Serah began backing up, her breathing rate rising. Damn... Damn!!

The little girl began to panic, turning to take off down the hallway. She needed to get away. She needed to get away quickly.

(am I the only one worried that Mark is now a pedophile? just had to make Serah 9 didn't you!?)


'While you're stalling about how some questions? like where are Shimo and Serah!?' Mark shouted.

Jakku sighed.
"If I must..."
His bone armour flowed around his body, curving into a helm around his face, leaving only his eyes visible.
His sword glowed yellow.
"Take this!"
He leapt into the air, slashing his sword and firing waves of energy.

Future!Shimo rolled her eyes.
OK, this plan is gonna suck.
She stood up.
Yellow Energy Outburst!
She yelled as her entire body began glowing yellow.
I'd run.
She grinned.
