"We don't know." Marisan shook his head. "It is a mystery in that sense."
"Guys, the tree can't predict the future." Sakura corrected. "Think of it as a mirror to the past, it only records what has happened not what's gonna happen or what's happening right now." she explained.
"Besides we won't be using it for anything like that." Klay pointed out. "We've got bigger fish to fry."
A few hours later the group had reached some of the larger branches. The tree still stretched out further up but they were now standing at the top of the trunk where the branches came out. Klay and Sakura looked in awe as the group was now surrounded by the leafs of the tree. "It looks so beautiful." Sakura beamed.
"Yeah it does." Klay nodded his head.
'Yeah it'd be real pretty if it didn't feel like we were suddenly thirty pounds heavier. Well maybe sixteen and three nineths. either way. This heavy man.' Mark said making reference to one of his favorite movies the re-re-re-remastered Back to the future.
ooc: I can't tell how far we are in the future or if we are in a separate universe, especially since people still have iPhones.
Brine looked at a leaf, the leaf showed an old Charlie Chaplin movie, as Charlie ran into a wall Brine broke out laughing and almost fell of the branch. Luckily, Jeremy caught him with one of his tonfas, "How childish," said Jeremy.
"I am 24, what are you, like 10?" Brine said.
"I am 12!" Jeremy almost yelled, some birds getting scared out of the tree, "Sorry."

OOC: 400 years in the future. But because of humanity's destruction they had to start from mostly 0, technology has advanced a lot thanks to new discoveries but a lot of things are still like the present.
"Don't yell Jeremy." Marisan scolded.
Klay saw the leafs float around him. "So I guess we should do what we came here for."
The leaves floated down around Tye, "But first...where..is...my...mother?" A chill shot through Tye, it feel like ice had condensed in his veins. That horrible women, what became of her...? He sighed, closing his eyes. Now opening them, he looked and an eerie seen folded out...a graveyard. His mother's grave, he couldn't help but feel sad despite the hate he had for her. Tye was choking on his words but he managed to get out: "How did this happen?" The scene changed again, his mother was murdered...by a skill user...on the city street. Tye had a single tear roll down his cheek before rejoining the group. Silver whimpered, affected by the sadness.
