Thread: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era

"Jack huh?" Sakura muttered and made a check on the clip board. She looked at the tow of them once more and closed her eyes. They were both PSI users that much she was able to tell. Her eyes looked at Brine for a moment and then at Jack. "My name is Sakura and I'm a member of the Slayers as well as being the one that'll decide your test for today."

"Ah that would probably be the best start. I am Brine Cast," stated Brine, adding one of those hand twirls and head nod half bows.

"So Brine and Jack. Well that's an interesting pair of names." she nodded her head. She raised the clipboard up and proceeded to click her fingers, causing the board to vanish into thin air. "I will be handing you your trials shortly."

Serah smiled a bit, chuckling. "Yeah, but I wanted to give us a weapon that would be all-purpose. Something usable," standing next to him, she turned off the Smithing Process. "So, how many new recruits do you think we'll get?"

"Honestly I don't know." Klay shook his head before sighing. "I just hope they're strong and can keep up, we never know when they might come back." he pointed out before smiling at Serah. "Don't worry too much about the weapons." he laughed. "Though it's nice to have someone on the team that likes to tinker with things aside from me, though I'm not that good nor do I use magic."

"You're a pretty effective leader, so it makes up for any shortcomings," to think, she'd only begun with Gun Magic.

Serah put a hand in her hair. "As for the recruits, I hope they aren't daunted as well. However, you learn from mistakes; so we just need to be there to help."

"Yeah you're right on that." Klay nodded his head and began walking down once more. "So do you like being a Slayer more than a Corps guard." he smiled.

Tye walked in, the room held a few new recruits and his good friends who he knew so well. "Hey guys" He said as he walked in. So alot has changed in the past year... For the first time in ages the team was back together again, he flashed that signature smile that he always did. Finally earned that nickname, the Red Flash...Gotten a lot stronger and a lot faster, I should be good enough to rank up soon... Tye still looked at the new faces and his friends. "So, just meet n' greet at this point?"

"Yes." Sakura pointed out when she saw Tye walk inside. "Klay should be on his way down and the others are somewhere."

Jack closed his eyes and waited to hear what his trial would be. He wasn't worried about it, there was nothing they could throw at him he couldn't handle.

Serah laughed a bit. "It's so much more fun than being told to perform missions everyday. I can finally relax," Serah had actually begun smiling much more, being able to finally cut loose. She'd had much more fun in Slayers than in the Corps. As they walked again, she heard some conversation from the main room.

"Looks like they're meeting the recruits. Let's go see, huh?"

Tye leaned over and whispered to Sakura. "Anyone look promising?" He asked as he looked more in-depthly at the recruits. But no one is faster than me... He smirked, he had overconfidence but his experience in the field led him to draw the line before arrogance.

Leon noticed some others entering the castle and decided to make himself known. Seemingly letting himself fall from the tree, Leon fell towards the ground at a dangerous speed. However, the second before he would have hit the ground below, he vanished in a flash of red light, silently appearing beside the others insode of the base in a similiar effect.

Jakku entered the room finally.
He yawned quietly, and looked around.
"...Apologies. I did not realise this was today."
He tossed a heavy satchel to the ground near the door, and joined Sakura, Shimo and Tye.

"I don't know." Sakura shook her head. "We would have to see." she pointed out before seeing Klay and Serah walk towards them from behind. "Good to see you guys could make it."

"Yeah." Klay smiled. "I ran into Serah on my way down." his eyes then scanned the new recruits. He looked at each of them attentively before turning to Tye. "Nice to see you back man." he smiled then turned to recruits. "The same goes for you two as well. I am Klay." he pointed at himself confidently. "And I'm th eleader of the Slayers."

"Co leader." Sakura clarified. "Our other leader is handling some business of his own right now." she looked at Jakku and smiled. "These are Tye Taylors and Jakku and Shimo Ebansu as well as Serah, they're all members of the Slayers."
