Thread: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era

Brine walked in, making a small grunt and a wave to acknowledge his recent appearance at the house.

"Was no-one defending him?!"
Jakku asked angrily.
His eyes sparked yellow, and he covered one with a wince.

OOC: I have literally no idea what is happening with Shimo's group right now. So yeah.

"It's not that easy Eleanor." Sakura whispered. "We have to find a way to attack without him noticing, if we're too hasty then it could ruin everything." she explained before adjusting her glasses. "If I could only get closer I would be able to create an illusion but how."

OOC: Shimo, Tink, Tye and Eric are fighting Clay and his two minions above ground.

The large man saw the webbing before he vanished and reappeared next to Eric. He moved his arms back accordingly before proceeding to throw a barrage of punches at him.

"We were all separated cause of the tiles Jakku." Lovo stated. "Besides it's his own fault for going on that mission when he knew that he was too weak and then fighting against their leader."

"Speaking of that." Reese interrupted. "There's actually a story I want to tell you, but it'll have to wait till after I get Klay's wounds treated."

Two hours later Reese walked out of the operation room. "He'll live for now he's in intensive care though." he then searched into his pockets. "It also seems like that bastard Kaiser left this in his pockets." he stated before holding out a case filled with red pills.

"So which one?" Tye asked, crimson life energy streamed up Tye's arms like lightning. "And I can still fight, I still have more to give" He smirked but winced from the pain.

"All right then I can deal with Clay, you take Klyde." Tinks tated before letting go of Tye.

"Or I could just use telekinesis to push him toward us." Eleanore said.

"Crap!" Eric said, as he was hit in the face and sent flying. He decided to change tactics and take on his android form. He flew into the air and fired a missile at his opponent.

"Don't you think that will alert him." Sakura pointed otu Eleanor. "Telekinesis is at the end of the day one of the most basic of PSI moves anyone with enough strenght or preparation can get away from it." she stated before looking into the room. "Can you create the illusion of us being invisible, I can't do both things at once." As she said this she felt something strange though her legs began to give out as she was finally able to notice the transparent gas that had surrounded her and Eleanor.

"You girls shouldn't spy." the scientist cackled before turning to face the two Slayers. "You should at least come in and greet people." he laughed.


The man wasn't able to reach Eric and instead began to runn around so as to dodge the missile strikes. He looked up before reaching out to grab a hold of a rock and threw it at Eric.

The rock exploded before touching Eric.
Shimo reloaded her rocket launcher mechanically.
Missed.

Tye began walking toward Klyde, "Do you wish to fight?" He smirked. "I am in a weakened state, still think you can take me?" Tye's arms were now glowing extremely bright with crimson lighting, he drew his hook swords.

"And it wasn't easy trying to follow, even reactivating the trap, as I tried to do, did nothing as the Prince showed up to get vengeance for me killing his mother, not that he cares. Bugs really are stupid" Stephanie commented. "Aleast I can rest knowing his vengeance was not fulfilled, he didn't kill me so I am sure he's pissed about it" she added.

"Red Pills? What was he expecting? That Klay would just suddenly place them in his mouth without knowing what it was, or the fact we know what Red Pills are" Stephanie asked a bit puzzled.

Klyde charged at Tye and threw his arms forward, suddenly both of his arms enlogated and fired at Tye before throwing punches at him.


The man turned to look at Shimo before he charged straight at her with great speed, making it unable for her to pinpoint him as he appeared behind her and stomped down.

"Most likely the first one." Reese stated before giving Stephanie the pills. "Don't tell Klay about these." he stated as he looked at Klay. "Truth is that...Klay's master was my little brother and if I know my brother and his training methods Klay should have some of his personality, if he knows that there's a way for him to take down Kaiser then he'll take those pills." he explained. "A man's wounded pride shouldn't be given a chance."

Shimo rolled forward, drawing her katana.
Who said I'm a one weapon kind of person?
She charged towards her foe, swinging low into a spin.

Jakku nodded.
"We have samples of these at our Guild's Headquarters, and with the other team. These should be destroyed."

"Don't worry, he won't know.. It's best I burn them, unless we need them for anything?" Stephanie said as she hovered one hand over the other that held the pills, the other one had flames as she was about to burn it.

"Don't burn them." Reese shook his head. "These pills are bettered and improved every day." he explained. "This should be newere than the ones you have."

Stephanie nodded her head before pocketing it away, she wouldn't use them to get stronger, it wasn't that good anyways. "Right, well I will keep them for now, I won't be eating them so no worries there" Stephanie replied.
