Thread: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era

Jack blocked the slash with another PSI shield, the force of the blow knocking him back a few feet. This temporary separation gave Jack the chance to attempt to drive a mind spike into Boris' brain, attempting to shut him down with one powerful mental offensive.

Boris smirked as he felt Jack trying to use mind spikes on him. He proceeded to vanish into the darkness once more. "Did you really assumed we hadn't taken measures, I've had a PSI block put on me in case I faced off against one of you PSI users." Boris smirked before reappearing behind Jack his hand raising to the level of his cheek. "It was a good plan though." he said as the blood that ran down from his cheek began to float out before turning into red colored beads of blood and firing at Jack's right foot and shoulder.

Jack nimbly leaped away from the projectiles. He frowned. The PSI block was indeed strong. It would take him far too long to break through the defenses. He held out his hand and fired a barrage of summoned shrapnel shards at Boris.

Eleanore had produced a beam of ligh shaped like a sword from the flashlight, and was slicing through the building's wall with it l. Eric knocked on the door.

He didn't get a response. "I guess we should walk in." Sakura said as she walked into the warehouse alongside Tink. The warehouse was completely empty once they went inside with only a few unused tools. There was something else though, a weird presence.

"There's something here." Sakura stated. "But not here on the surface."

Boris turned around and saw as one of the shrapnel pierced the side of his chest, causing him to gasp and cough up blood as he stepped back.

"Oh, how lucky for me," said Brine bitingly sarcastic. Brine then kneeled down, laying his weapons to his side, "Don't worry, I know when I am in the presence of greatness." As Brine kneeled he place his hands on the ground and smirked, "Of course, this isn't one of those times." Brine sent PSI shockingly fast through the ground before a beam of PSI energy shot up from underneath Barrage.

Jack continued to press on the offensive, firing another barrage of shrapnel at Boris as he moved forward.

Barrage saw the beam before jumping up and flipping around int he air. Once he landed he stretched his hands out. Something else appread from behind him the image of a large knight stood besides Barrage. "My skill is different from others. Do you know what a Shadow is?"


Boris smirked. Suddenly the blood from the wound that had dropped to the floor raised up from the floor and expand, forming a red wall around Boris that blocked the sharpness. Boris jumped up to the top of the wall and held his hand to his wound before taking out the shrapnel from his chest and throwing it back at Jack. Once thsi happened he held his hand close to his wound and began to bring out more blood before slowly turning it into a long red colored blade.

Jack sidestepped the thrown shrapnel. It was at this point he realized that it was not the best plan to make Boris bleed. Summoning a blade of his own, he knew that he needed to think fast.

"What is it? did you realize that you can't win." Bori snickered at Jack as he held his blood sword forward. "You are in a room full of darkness and fighting a vampire that can control blood, you can only do so much."

"The deck is stacked against me sure." Jack chuckled. "But that doesn't mean I can't win." He pointed out. "I haven't even began to show you my true power."

"It's something that can be taken out with bright light!" said Brine summoning a brightly glowing orb of PSI and launching it at the knight. Unless you are talking about another kind, which in that case no I don't." said Brine

"Then I guess that makes two of us." Boris smiled at Jack before raising the sword once more. He vanished and reappared behind him and slashed down with both of his blades.


Barrage grinned. The knight vanished and took place in front of him and as Barrage threw his hand to the side the knight slashed to the side as well, destroying the blast. "A Shadow is the essence of a Skill user it's like that user's presence of sort and a figure that represents them." he explained. "Shadows reflect killing intent and power and a person's shadow in turn despicts that person's ability. I am someone that was born with a special magic skill that allows me to make my shadow completely visible rather than just it being visible to those capable of feeling presences."


Klay looked at the man, neither of them moving from where they stood. "You've really grown Klay." the man muttered; causing Klay to raise an eyebrow. "I think it has been around 18 years or so."

"Who are you?" Klay stared at th eman a serious expression crossing his face. Suddenly he saw the man vanish and reappear in front of him causing Klay to summon his swords.

"Too slow." the man stated. At that moment a blast of light slammed against Klay's side throwing him aside and sending him rolling around the floor. "Though you seem to be at a weaker state than I imagined." the man pointed out.

Jakku tossed off his uniform, revealing his normal clothing beneath, and a large assortment of bladed weaponry.
He leapt at Barrage, spinning his battlestaff over his head.

Shimo looked down.
Wait... literal or metaphorical surface?
She murmured.

Barrage put his arms together and blocked the strike by having the knight raised both of its arms and catching the staff. "I guess you didn't hear what your friend said about you leaving." Barrage smirked before lashing out with his right arm so that the knife would slash too. Once Jakku landed though he activated yet another floor tile causing him to vanish as well.

He reappeared inside of a larger room in one of the upper floor except he was standing in the center of a bridge that looked down at the abyss that led down to the bottom of the base.


"Literal." Sakura replied.
