Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
"We're escaped criminals."
Jakku said, smiling.
"So yes. Like the good old days..."
He said softly, reminiscinsing.
Shimo swore, dropping onto the ground out of the vent.
Well, this.
She began firing rapidly, bullets glowing faintly yellow then curving in spirals towards Damien.
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Damien charged forward at Shimo before putting his hand on the floor. Small chains came out form the floor and began to wrap themselves tightly around the bullets as he charged at her and pulled out a pair of handguns. He jumped up and spun around, shooting down towards Shimo.
"Actually Jakku, can I possibly talk to you." Klay pointed out as he turned to him. "It's important." he then turned to Jack and Evan. "Get to it."
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
"Who says I'm not the good cop?" Jack asked. He wasn't fooling anyone.
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Evan hauled Fria to a room in the ship. He shut the door behind him.
"Don't worry, we'll be nice." Evan said to Sakura. For once, it was totally clear he was being serious. He then turned to Jack. "It's not like it would be a good idea to be anything but, anyway. She gets her strength from being put under pressure, so if we're too harsh, she'll probably get away. Anyways." Evan went to the kitchen, got some donuts, and entered the room, turning on the recorder app on her phone.
"How you doin'?" Evan asked, sitting across from Fria, putting the donuts on her table. "Donut?"
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Jack was a bit shocked. Evan was making some good points. He decided to let him take the lead in the interrogation for now. He quickly ducked out of the room, returning with a pot of coffee, three mugs, cream and sugar. He prepared himself a cup of coffee and smiled. "We're rather nice people once you get to know us." He added.
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Mark had taken Dragoon down into the ship and was talking with him about his past. The guy was decently interesting. Seemed pretty typical though. His home town didn't the help it needed from the BHA and what not so it became a den of thieves, and he became Dragoon to try and do something about it. Whenever Dragoon tried to bring up Mark's past the questions would be deflected. Nobody else really needed to know that much more about him. That was probably why he didn't like all these other random associates. Trust wasn't something Mark wanted to throw around.
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
"Hey you, your name's Mark right?" Schwarz asked as he walked over towards him. "Come with me for a moment." he said before pointing to one of the rooms of the ship.
Fria didn't reply instead staring at Evan and Jack before leaning against her chair. "You guys are real idiot."
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Mark let Dragoon wander around on his own, and followed schwarz. He made sure to have a couple of sicklewings in his belt. Not for use on schwarz but for use in proving his skill.
'Whatcha need?' Mark asked.
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
"Remember that before you got on the ship I told you that you were an -A minus." Schwarz said as he walked. "Well you see I have this little thing, I can pretty much rate people's worth, now this doesn't have anything to do with abilities and stuff." he pocketed his hand and stared at Mark. "Your mark is actually pretty high the only one of the Slayers that have been able to get an A from me are Evan and Jakku, even Klay only manages to have a -B minus. What I'm trying to say is that you may be new but you're good."
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
"Don't compare me to Jack.." Evan said, leaning back in his chair. "Want the chains off?" He asked, taking out a sharpie and some scotch tape.
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
'Worth as what? We all offer something different. Klay knows how to keep us all together. I just make creative ways to kill the grunts mostly.' Mark said.
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Jack chuckled. "And I was about to say don't compare me to Evan." He commented with a grin. "Look Fria. Let us get one thing straight here." He leaned forward a bit. "I am nothing like your sister." He told her bluntly. "I know what you really are... but she's too blind to see it." He looked at Evan for a moment before shrugging. "And you should know that unlike everyone else on this team... I don't play nice."
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
"Yeah but at the end of the day if I were to rely on someone's skills it would be you." Schwarz nodded his head. "Your eyes, your hands, just looking at you I can tell that you've been through a lot of fights, plus I can see great knowledge, as you said you find creative ways in killing meaning your ingenious." he nodded his head and leaned against his wall. "I'd say that what you lack is, well, openness to the world."
Fria looked up at Jack and yawned. "See if I care." she deadpanned at him. "You can't probe my mind I've already made myself immune to all of that years ago." she said and leaned against the chair once more. "Plus the way I see it I could just freeze you guys right now, it's not like you're keeping my powers at bay or anything."
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Jack just laughed. "If I had wanted to probe your mind for secrets I would have done it hours ago." He said with a knowing smile. "And you do know I'm a fire user right?" He laughed. "I'm really not concerned with you trying to break out." He said, standing up and turning his back to Fria. "Because I don't think you want to go anywhere."
Re: Bounty Hunters Part II: The New Era
Fria just stared at him, a raised eyebrow to show her confusion. "Are you high?"
