"The hair's a long story for the both of us actually." Tara stated before turning to Jack and smiling. "You must be a new member, I'm Tara." she said and announced herself once more.
"My mom has actually helped us out a lot, two years ago she trained us herself, actually she's the reason Klay was able to learn how to use his Elemental Stage." she explained. "She also thought Evan basic PSI as well."
"But lately my daughter hasn't been calling me." Tara pouted before ruffling Sakura's head and letting her go. 'I'm Tara, it's nice to meet you." she said and held her hand towards Jack.
Tye walked through the long corridors, eventually seeing Sakura and Jack down at the end of one. There was also a woman who he couldn't quite tell who it was. Visitors? He smirked as he walked toward the group.
Jack took her hand gently and shook it. "Jack." He introduced himself. "It's a pleasure to meet you... and yes, I'm new."
"Well it's nice to meet you too Jack." Tara nodded her head and then turned to Sakura. "So what is it you called me here for?"
"Yes." Sakura nodded her head. "Teach us." she said bluntly. "I want us to teach us the PSI only technique Nova." she pointed out, her eyes looking determined.
"Oh yeah...you are at that age after all." Tara scratched her head. "And when yous ay teach us you mean you two."
"Brine if he wants to, I figured we'll need it." Sakura shrugged.
"Am I interrupting?" Tye whispered as he walked up to the group.
"Who are you whispering too?" Sakura asked as she saw Tye. "This is my mom."
"Hi, I'm Tara it's nice to meet you." Tara nodded her head politely and stuck her hand out at Tye.
Tye shook her hand, "Pleasure to meet you Mrs." He smiled. "I haven't met you before, Sakura, where has your mom been all this time?" Tye laughed.
"She travels around the world." Sakura said to Tye while deadpannning. "She's a powerful PSI user and journeys around the world." she pointed out. "I wanted mom to teach me, Jack and Brine something."
"Sounds cool, I mean anything to make us better" Tye smirked. "So you guys will be training together then?" he asked.
Jack nodded. "I could use some new tricks." He said vaguely.
"Okay I guess since you're determined with that." Tara ndoded her head. "So should we start now, you guys are leaving in two days after all."
"I'm ready." Jack said with an assured confidence. He'd been up for everything being a member of the Slayers had thrown at him.
Serah made her way into the hall. "Wow, a crowd," she stated to herself. "Sakura!" she called out to the woman from the end of the hallway.
Serah waved a hand idly, another in her pocket. "Got something for you."
She looked at them once more, her hands on her waist and a grin on her face. "So, something not a lot of people know is that each Skill has a special technique that only natural born holders of that skill can use." she explained. "For PSI it's called Nova, a skill that allows you to use your mind power at 100% capacity." she crossed her arms. "With this your senses will be enhanced and your mind power will also increase exponentially."
"However Nova causes you to put all that energy from your body to your mind, as thus your physical abilities will decrease when your mental ones increase, you can still use PSI to enhance it but that will put a strain on your body since its resistance will be lowered." she then raised her index finger. "There's another ability that you have to watch out for, Life Energy users have a technique called Zen Mode, with this they can achieve a state of comple relaxation where they forget about everything but the goal in sight, it's still unknown why but when this is done the person becomes immune to mind tricks, illusions or probing, however breaking through Zen Mode is pretty easy if you manage to get the person to lose their focus."
Sakura finally noticed Serah. "Serah hi." she smiled. "Nice to have you back. What is it?"
